"Good morning sleepy head." Oliver says to me.
He's standing in the doorway holding two mugs of coffee and has a cute smile on his face.
"Morning you," I finally yawn to him, "what time is it?" I ask.
"It's 10:20" he tells me, "you know, you look even more beautiful when you are asleep and you looked so peaceful, so I didn't want to wake you up."
He walks over to me to hand me one of the mugs he had brought up with him.
"Thanks. Next time, I'll be the one bringing you coffee and maybe even breakfast." I say to him.
"Next time hey?, I'll have to hold you to that." he says jokingly
"Don't worry, unlike people in the past who haven't stuck to their promises, I always stick to mine." I tell him, "How did you sleep last night?" I ask him.
"It was the best nights sleep that I have had in a long time." He says.
We sat on the bed together, drinking our coffee until my adoptive mother shouts "breakfast."
We slowly walk down the stairs, making sure that neither of us slip in our still sleepy state, and then make our way to the kitchen, hand in hand.
"Awww, look at you two, you're just the cutest, let me get a picture of you both," my adoptive mother cries out.
"Mum, please don't be embarrassing again, especially first thing in the morning" I moan, "and you know that you don't get to embarrass me in front of someone new twice." I say to her, quite sternly.
"It's fine, honestly, and it would allow us to remember our first morning together when we are old and senile." Oliver says before kissing me.
*Click* "Do you flipping mind mother," I retort, " we are trying to enjoy our first morning together and we don't need you taking pictures of it."
"Oh, fine then mr 'I haven't had my coffee yet'" she teases.
