Christma crisis:💙cole and lloyd

December 7th 6:20pm
Lloyd was walking through the hallway back to his room but then he suddenly heard cole on the phone "dad I know I haven't been home for Christmas since I became a ninja but!" He was cut off by his dad "i....dad" tried to speak "listen I can't just leave my friends!" ..... he went quiet. Lloyd was still listening in on the conversation. After a second cole basically started yelling "I'm almost 20 and you didn't care wether or not I was home after mom died!!!!" Lloyd stepped away from the door a bit concerned for cole and heard a loud frustrated sigh on the other side of the door

Cole was sitting on his bed reading a cookbook
(it was more on baking then just cooking)
"This year I am going to make good Christmas cookies" he told himself filled with pride and confidence
Then out of nowhere his phone started to ring making him jump a bit he looked at his phone "oh no"
he saw the name of who was calling him it was his dad its not he didn't want to talk to him, he just knew what was going to happen he knew what his dad was going to ask
"ok cole its fine just take a deep breath" he did so and picked up the phone "hello son" he said over the phone "hay dad what's up" he knew the answer to his question though "I was wondering if you could spend the holidays with me" ".....umm dad I know I haven't been home for Christmas in a while but..." he started to walk around in his room "come on cole" "I dad" "please cole you haven't been here in almost 5 years" "listen
I can't just leave my friends!!"
"Come on Please your still my family too!" Yeah well I'm almost 20 and you didn't care wether or not I was home after mom died!!!!" Cole quickly realized what he said "dad i" he hung up on his son
cole let out a frustrated sigh floping doen on his bed "greaaat" he mumbled putting his hand on his face a few seconds passed and cole heard a soft knock "what" cole still sounded a little upset
Lloyd slowly opened the door a bit "cole" he said quietly "oh hay Lloyd" he sat up "you ok" he was a little bit shy about asking him thet cole gave him a soft smile "...did...did you...hear my conversation on the phone" he asked hesitating "y-yeah"
"come on" he offered Lloyd to sit down beside him when he sit down cole put his arm around the small boy
Lloyd looked up at him concerned for his friend cole sighed Lloyd layed his head on his shoulder cole smiled at seeing Lloyd try to comfort him "umm...my dad wants me to spend the holidays with him....and I do whant to be with him don't get me rong...I just whant to be with you guys to"
"Hmm...he can't stay with us?" Lloyd asked
"I don't think he'd be up for that...plus after what just happened I don't think he'd answer his phone now"
"you don't know that...he's yur dad he still loves you" he tried to help him wich made cole smile "Yeah True"
"you could spend
Christmas-eve with him and day with us to I'm sure the others would understand" he looked up at cole with a smile "haha thanks sunshine" he ruffled the blond boys hair "hehehehe" playfully he feel back on the bed his head landed near the book
"What's this" he picked the book up

"Why do you have this....did you whant to try to cook?" Lloyd asked worried for himself and his team's stomachs
"Yes and I was planning to fallow the recipe EXACTLY" he replied crossing his arms Lloyd looked at the book then cole
"Can I help" "oh uh sure"

... ... ...

The next day after getting some stuff from the stor cole and Lloyd were in the kitchen

"So we make the dough cut it in to two pieces and sit it in the fridge for at least three hours" cole said making sure he was right
"Yup" Lloyd replied looking up from the book cole looked at him and realized what he was wereing "is that my shirt?" He asked "yees" he replied not making eye contact "why?"
"It's big and if I make a mess it won't get on me and mess up my clothes" he explained looking up
