𝐀𝐄𝐑𝐄𝐀 sat the the vanity as she ran her fingers to undo the braids that her mother had given her. She picked up a brush from the vanity and raised it to comb through her hair, turning the tight curls into soft waves — the way Alicent would often wear. Helaena let out a soft squeak as Aerea blinks, glancing behind at her aunt. Who was holding a piece of wrinkled paper to her chest. The both of them made eye contact as Aerea rose from the plush seat and rushed over to her aunt with a smirk appearing on her bare face.

"Is that from Lord Lucion, dear aunt?" Aerea asks as Helaena simply nods, handing the girl the letter. Aerea placed her brush on her lap as she skims through the letter. The honey words popped out to her, she could feel her heart grow big as her mind whispered the words. Oh how she longed for something like this, a love filled with sweet words shining with happiness. That was one way to describe her aunt's lover, such a refined and generous man. He did not lack anything it seemed, though he was still a Lannister. Still cunning and secretive. Alicent often told the both of them that his father was half the man he was back in the day, it goes to show that his mother raised him well. Lucion Lannister had a genuine love for her aunt and Aerea was forever grateful — she praised the Gods for giving such a man to her beloved aunt.
