QUEEN'S TEARS
She rules the kingdom with
wise eyes, mighty hands, strong wings,
careful mind, and a courageous heart,
but even royalty has to face downfall. When she is crying,
it shall be behind closed doors,
laying in a dark room—alone.
She won't make a sound
just letting her tears flow freely
as her body trembles with agony. She wears the crown,
and she shall carry the burden flawlessly.
All know her as the dauntless one,
no one witnesses the shedding of tears—
for after every battle,
she wants to be with herself
to celebrate victory
or to suffer from misery. She sent letters to the crescent moon,
asking for strength and wisdom,
she will write until her last breath
for she owes everything to written words—
it is the source of life
and her giver of peace.Outside the gates,
assassins await,
they want to watch her fall,
and do everything to stop her from rising.
Enemies want to see the Queen's tears,
but she will never give them that chance
for she was raised to share benevolence,
not gracelessness.
