"GO MITCH!" SHELBY CHEERED AS KITCH PITCHED CAUSING MITCH to gain a small smile on his face. "Oh shit!" Shelby exclaimed as the game ended and Mitch started walking over to the far gate.
Shelby ran into the feild ignoring the calls from the coach and ran next to Mitch. Mitch looked over at her and sighed.
"I told Pink to go easy on you" Shelby tried to make the situation better but failed as Mitch walked up to the guys waiting for him. "Please go easy on him?" The guys scoffed at the girl and took turns snaking Mitch with a paddle.
Shelby looked at Mitch, she could sence his pain before her eyes wondered to Pink who had walked up.
"Let me take a turn" Pink said as he grabbed the paddle. "I'll catch up with y'all" The guys walked away as Shelby looked at Pink. Pink winded the paddle back, making Shelby's eyes widen in horror, and swung it but just before it hit Mitch he stopped in and lightly hit him, making Shelby silently pray to the gates above.
"Are you okay! I'm so sorry!" Shelby hugged Mitch feeling him lean into her.
"It's fine." Mitch groaned. Shelby shook her head and looked at Pink with begging eyes. Pink took the message and pulled out his keys.
"You want a ride?" Mitch nodded and Shelby helped him into the backseat. Shelby jumped in next to him and smiled as she felt Mitch rest his head on her shoulder. She wrapped her arm around his shoulder and played with the hair that had fallen in his face.
