Before I knew it.. I died..
I was a young sickly boy who had not much longer to live if speaking truth. I died.. at just 17 years old and was brought to the After life.
Even though I was sick, I must admit I was quite a rebellious kid aswell. I never listened to my parents, I argued, fought with other classmates, hung out with the wrong crowd and had quite a few girlfriends even if I wasn't allowed.
Crazy right?
Well yeah, that's what landed me in this situation. I did a lot of bad things, not bad enough to get me into a bad place of course but I had a LOT of apologising and a lot of making amends to other people for.
I can't go back now. It's too late. I'm already dead and I can't exactly deny the fact that I deserved my fate.
Instead of having a cruel or horrible punishment, I got put with a chore instead, maybe a "job" you could say.
My job was to be the new cupid. The one before me had already served their time fully and they needed a new one. Luckily I needed to make up for my behaviour on from when I was alive as well as being sorta y'know.. dead.
Next thing I know i'm a boy who roams the streets of South Korea looking to make new couples or watching new romances unfold and having to time my shots perfectly.
My job is pretty easy. Watch out every angsty, bittersweet, rom-com, beautiful or heartfelt story break out and shoot them with my arrows. As long as they impale the skin (not that they feel it or anything) the person will fall in love with the last person they laid eyes or is looking at.
The last thing I should also mention is that I'm not invisible. I have to physically interact and MAKE the relationships happen. Either messing around and make situations happen or physically pushing it myself.
