Long before Jia even expected, the weekend already began. After a long and boring day of school on a Friday, Jia was already done and flopped on her bed exhausted.
She took out her phone and went on social media scrolling through photos on instagram. She saw the cute photos her friends uploaded and made sure to like their latest posts.
A familiar face or account popped up... 'Jwonycat' What's that name?
She definitely saw it before and it was a recommended account.
Wait that's the name of one of the people from the groupchat.
Clicking on the profile curious, the face of Jungwon appeared in all the posts. They were all cute photos of him and just selfies or him hanging out with his friends.
Unknowingly or rather out of her control, a smile crept onto her face as she looked at how happy he was. 'Cute.' Was her thought. Snapping out of it though, she remembered that she can't have feelings for Jungwon.
It was wrong. That's why.
But WHY is it wrong?
The more Jia questioned, she couldn't find a answer. She wanted to be in denial but something held her back from finding the answer to her question. Although she couldn't find an answer, there was already one that was so obvious. 'He doesn't like me back, does he?' Disappointment once again shot her like an arrow.
A whining sound left Jia's mouth and she felt like crying. 'I miss him so much ughh..' Guilty feelings returned and it made Jia feel even worse. Chasing someone you know will never like you back was a dangerous game and Jia was well aware which is why she was terrified of coming to terms with feelings.
