Mistakes?

Y/N's POV

I groan as I sit up from my bed. It's only 6 AM and yet I was awake. I kept trying to go back to sleep but ended up just getting up. I stared at the bed for a while. It was comfortable, but it felt weird sleeping on it. Maybe it's because it's not the bed I was used to.

I sigh before going through my morning routine. I didn't linger too much in my room after washing up. I was hungry and needed to eat something. I made my way down to the dining area to see my grandfather drinking his morning coffee. There was food on the table and Seungmin and halme were already eating.

They all gave me smiles as I joined them. I was quietly eating as I thought of the events that happened the previous evening. I recalled how furious my grandfather was at my father for what he did and how my grandmother cried with me when I revealed my pregnancy.

I was afraid that my grandparents would disown me like they did to my mother when they found out that she was pregnant. I was waiting for their harsh words. But it never came. Instead, they wrapped me in their warm embrace and comforted me. Promising too, that they'll always love and care for me and my baby. I felt relieved at their words.

After our moment, they turned their attention to Seungmin who was a stranger to them. I thought they would turn him away once we told them that he was my cousin from my father's side of the family. But they welcomed him warmly into their home and thanked him for bringing me over safely.

As it was already late and snowing outside, they insisted that Seungmin stay for the night and that they'd have someone bring him home in the morning. He gratefully accepted their offer and was then led to a guest room while I was led to my room. I did manage to sleep last night. But it was because of exhaustion. Otherwise, I wouldn't be able to sleep at all.

My attention was brought back to my food as I heard my name being called. I quickly turned to my grandmother who was looking at me worriedly as I had spaced out for a bit.

"Are you alright dear?" she asked, taking a sip of her tea.

"Yes. I'm fine. Did you say something halme?" I asked. She smiled at me before replying.

"I was just telling Seungmin that since Christmas is just a week away, maybe we could go out and do some Christmas shopping. And then we can go and get you new clothes and look at baby things." she said. Her eyes lit up with excitement as she talked about buying me clothes and looking for baby things. As much a I wanted to stay home, I couldn't possibly say no to halme.

"Okay. Are we leaving after breakfast?" I asked, smiling back at my grandmother to reassure her that I was actually fine and that I'd love to go out with her.

"Yes. We'll leave after breakfast. Make sure to wear something warm dear." I nod at her words and proceeded to finish my breakfast.

Chan's POV

I was going around the mall with Changbin and Jisung, doing some last minute Christmas shopping. We had already bought gifts for the other guys and was looking for a gift for Felix. We've been going around for hours trying to think of something to give to him that he doesn't already have.

We had just passed by a shop that sells baby needs when I got an idea. Although Felix doesn't really like Hyemi, he loves his baby. I quickly pulled the two boys into the store with me. Everything inside the store looked so cute! I thought it would be easy to buy something. But it was harder than I thought. As we walked around the store aimlessly, I spotted a familiar figure looking at something.

He wasn't alone too. His arm was resting on another familiar, smaller figure beside him as an old lady looked at the object with them. I was about to approach when I noticed that the girl and the old lady had already walked away with a cart full of baby essentials. I quickly ran to the boy and held his wrist.

"What are you doing here Seungmin?" I asked. His eyes widen at my sudden appearance. He then looked down, not meeting my eyes.

"I was just looking around for gifts. I'm planning on buying something for a friend." he replied, finally meeting my eyes. I was about to say something when I someone called his name.

"Seungmin!" we both turned to see who had called. My eyes widened when I recognized the person as Y/N. I frowned as she had been M.I.A. every time all of us hung out. But here she was, looking at baby essentials with Seungmin. I raised my eyebrows questioningly at Seungmin until she reached us.

"Seungmin, it's time to go. Halme wants to go and pay for everything now so we can have lunch." she said, grabbing Seungmin's arm.

"What's up Y/N! You haven't been hanging out with us! How are you?" I said, smiling at the girl that all of us had grown to like.

"Hey Chan! I'm good. Been very busy. But still good. I, um, have to take Seungmin now. My grandmother wants us to head out now." she smiled. But it didn't quite reach her eyes. I quickly smiled and let go of Seungmin.

"Well, it was nice seeing you two. We're having a party on Christmas Eve. You guys should totally come!" I said, hoping for a positive feedback from Y/N. If she comes, the guys would be happy to see her.

"I'll see if I can drop by. But I'm not really sure. I'll let you guys know through Seungmin." she said hesitantly.

After our quick exchange, I watched them walk away. Something in my gut was telling me that they were just buying gifts here. I was about to go and look for the other two when the sound of plastic bottles dropping rang out the otherwise, quiet shop. I whip around and found a guilty looking Jisung and Changbin with baby bottles scattered on the floor around them. I facepalmed and quickly helped them gather the cute little bottles and then we proceeded to check out.

We made our way to the food court where the others were waiting for us. They were already munching on something as they sat at our table.

"What took you guys so long? Jeongin and Felix are already on their second pizza." Whined a tired looking Minho. We sat down and joined them.

"I'm sorry. Those two just caused some trouble. And I happened to bump into Seungmin and Y/N while they were shopping."

"Y/N? She's here?" Felix suddenly exclaimed, making us all turn to him. It was no secret that he's in love with her. So, his reaction was expected. But what surprised me was Minho's reaction.

"She's here? Did she look okay? Did she look healthy? Did she look happy? Where did you bump into her?" Minho rapidly asked, his eyes lighting up. I frowned at his reaction, but still answered his question.

"Well, she looked alright. A little tired, but she seemed okay. She smiled but it didn't quite reach her eyes. And I bumped into her and Seungmin in the third floor at the baby essentials shop." I watched as Minho sank into his seat. He looked deep in thought. It was like something was troubling him and Y/N is somehow related to it.

Felix, on the other hand was about to get up. He looked like he wanted to run to her. But we quickly held him down, knowing that she wouldn't be there anymore.

Y/N's POV

Lunch was annoying. It wasn't because of the food or the people I was with. It was because of the morning sickness. I kept feeling nauseated at some of the food. I had to run to the comfort room a few times because the smell of the food made me sick. But at least I managed to eat something. I rubbed my belly as I sat on my bed.

Baby, everything will be okay. I promise to protect you. I love you.

Minho's POV

Fuck! Fuck! Fuck! Don't tell me she's pregnant! Fuck! Maybe I shouldn't have left! Gosh! I fucked up! If she's really pregnant, then it would be my baby. Fuck! This was a mistake! I shouldn't have left her! I should've fixed things between us! I left her when she needed me the most! Fuck! You fucked up bad, Lee Minho!
