it has been too much time since i had heard from you, my car getting bogged into the depths of the saturated earth was the last thing i though was going to happen on a Monday afternoon , i was already late for the new job i had promised was going to be a new start to the mess i had created in my day to day life, i pressed my foot to the floor and watched as mud flicked everywhere covering anything in its path, i pressed the combination of numbers that you had entered into my phone that day in the coffee shop, with every dial tone my breathing got heavier, i felt a sense of relief when i heard the your voice over the music in the background, i froze not knowing how to explain myself without making you think i was not ready to talk to you again, i let the words escape my mouth, " hey Leroy i have admittedly screwed myself over today and i just needed to calm myself down" , i hear the chuckle leave you body as i finished my sentence , Leroy knew exactly where i was without telling him. he pulled my car out with ease as my screen filled with missed calls from the manager who was ament to be interviewing me, maybe this was a sign that this job just wasn't going to be right for me, i had started to feel a bottomless pit in my stomach as everything went dark and i felt the pain of hitting the floor with a sound that sent chills down Leroy's spine,

Leroy's POV

I could not believe my eyes as I watched her fall to the floor, dust kicking into the air as her head hit the root of the tree, I rushed to her aid asking her to wake up, she was faintly coming to and from consciousness, she hugged her side tight indicating that she was in grave pain as the whimpers were barely audible. I scooped her into my arms letting her head rest on my leg as a lent against the base of the tree. I grabbed the blankets she keeps in the boot of her car which I need to question her about later, there were pillows and blankets scattered in her car, and as she regained consciousness, I tucked the blanket between her head and my leg to give her something comfortable to lean on until the ambulance arrived, 

mia's POV

I heard the faint sounds of sirens as the pain struck my head like a knife being jammed through my skull and the pain in my stomach had been drilling on for months, I turn to look up at Leroy and he coo's me to stop moving, and tells me everything is going to be ok, with a light and gentle force he lifts me into the van and onto the medical table making the paramedics job so much easier, they poke and prod for as long as what felt like an hour, they turn to me and ask to speak to me privately, signaling for leroy to step outside for a brief moment, the paramedic takes a breath and explains that I have become very sick and that my chances of having kids will be very slim without the proper help, he explains that the sickness iv had for months comes from a condition called endometriosis, that can have effects on being able to have a baby. 

I sit there in silence trying to hold back tears, I ask if they can let leroy back inside as they have to take me to the hospital for further X-rays and scans
