"Where are we going?" He asks, backing away from me.
"We're going to my castle, Luceo. You will live with me, and be my partner. Together we will spend eternity."
"What if I don't want to?" He says defiantly, taking a solid stance. "I don't know you, what if I don't want go with you?"
"Than I'll have to kidnap you, if it comes to that. Are you sure you want to resist me? You are powerful. That is true. I, however, have the power of eternity. None can defeat me, and you are no more powerful to me than an ant. So if you wish to resist me, you will make this far harder than it needs to be" he relaxes.
"I'll go. There are worse things in death than ruling the underworld. I shall go with you without resistance, but with one condition. If it isn't met, I will take my life here and now."
"What is your condition?" I growl, impressed by his audacity.
"You give me power. I wish to rule alongside you, not as a queen, but as a fellow king." I smile. I made an excellent choice in a groom.
"I will meet your conditions with pleasure. Having someone to manage affairs while I am busy is something I will accept with gusto. Come with me, then, and I shall show you the Castellum Noctis."
"The... The what?" He asks, bewildered. "The Castellum Noctis. It's latin, it means the Castle of Night."
"Oh. Castle of Night. Wait, knight with a "k" or night with- you know what, this is basically hell, I'm sure it's the "n" night." I stare at him, bemused and bewildered. What a bright soul I seem to have found in this darkness. Maybe.... Maybe for once I'll feel... Happy?
