INGRID HADN'T ALWAYS BEEN A BITCH. Years upon the villain kids' arrival, many saw the infamous blonde as sweet and kind. She cared about everyone and alongside Ben, Audrey and Chad, she strutted the hallways with a smile. She always had a boyfriend on her arm and if it wasn't for her royal status, others may have seen her as the school's whore. It wasn't because she was but because of her stature and the way boys followed her like she was treasure. Maybe it was the tiara upon her head, fashioned with diamond snowflakes. It always did seem to shine like the northern lights.
Some said she lost her sparkle when her mother finally left to rejoin the spirits while others claimed that Audrey losing Ben had thrown her into the deep end and she had gone a little loopy. Many called their group falling apart Ingrid's breaking point and that's when she iced over like her mother once did. It seemed that everyone had an opinion on her quick demise but she began not to care.
After Ben left Audrey for Mal, Ingrid held her hand through every upset and strutted again though the halls with the quest to intimidate instead of grinning at the world. She wouldn't let Mal of the Isle hurt Audrey of all people. Ben may had been in line for the throne but no matter what, they were both princesses and they could get with any old king. That was until Audrey broke up with Chad and their group of four became two.
Ingrid decided that enough was enough. She didn't need a boy on her arm, she was looking for something more real. Unfortunately for Ingrid, she definitely was not going to find that in Auradon Prep. All she could find was Mal Bertha's annoying blonde hair at every corner. She couldn't say she hated Mal because hate was a really strong word but she did get irritated by her. It wasn't for the fake blonde hair that Ingrid was blessed with or the fact she could eat strawberries so gracefully but more so it was the way she made her best friend feel.
Audrey may have got with Chad in a matter of seconds but when they were tucked in bed at night, often from the sleepovers Audrey announced so suddenly, the brunette would cry in her arms and Ingrid's anger towards Mal would increase slowly. The fact she was able to spell her best friend's boyfriend into loving her grinded her gears a little too much. It made her hands prickle with frost at the thought.
Like it was said, Ingrid wasn't always a bitch but when she passes Ben and Mal by the lockers, whispering loving thoughts to each other...she lets out a snigger. It's was only a little one at first, in Audrey's ear so only they could hear but as Audrey reciprocated with one of her own, their laughter became imminent. it was spiteful and of course her mother would be ashamed but a bitch move is made by a bitch.
