I was falling asleep when I felt something kicking my arm.

Tangina naman panira ng tulog, sobrang sakit na nga ng ulo ko dumagdag pa itong kapatid ko.

"Your dad called. Sumipot ka daw sa blind date mo, hindi yang para kang tangang nagmumukmok dito."

"Aba't, sinong tanga?!" I grabbed the pillow under my head and threw it at him, pero walang hirap niyang sinalag ito at ibinalik sa akin ang pagbato.

"You heard me ate you're so hopeless, in other term ay tanga ka sa pag-ibig. Try to move on para hindi ka nagmumukhang pathetic."

"Good afternoon ma'am, any reservation?"

"Reservation for Cullen." I response.

"Oh hello Miss Erin, tama po ba?" I nodded. "This way po." She leaded the way as I followed her.

This is the first time I'm meeting someone that my dad set up for me. I really hate it when he arranges dates with random girls without my permission.

Don't get me wrong, naka-moved on na ako kay Ally. I'm just not comfortable with some strangers.

I fixed my posture as I approached the table reserved for me and my date.

And guess what? Mukhang ako naman ang hindi sisiputin for today's bidyow, huwell pabor naman sa akin.

I sat down and get the menu above the table.

They have everything naman, pero dahil sa laki ako sa hirap mas gusto ko ang adobo, sinigang, ginataan, and other homemade dishes.

I can afford all of it, but I just don't want it. I prefer simple meals.

I was surprised when someone familiar approached me.

"Professor, what are you doing here?" I smiled at her and stood up. She was my professor back then, the youngest professor at the university I attended.

I let her sit in front of me, and we start talking.

To be honest, nakakamiss si ma'am dahil isa siya sa bumuo ng college life ko.

She's quite good at talking to someone talaga, hinding hindi mawawalan ng pag-uusapan kapag siya ang kausap.

She stopped talking when my phone suddenly rang. I excused myself to Miss Leona para sagutin ang tawag.

"Erin I just wanted to inform you that your date won't be able to get there, and your dad asked me to tell you na ireresched ang date."
