Slash and Danielle enter the hotel. It's dark and cloudy, the stars can't be seen no matter how hard one tries. It's clear that the two of them are exhausted. They'd been walking around the city for the past four to five hours, talking non-stop. They go into the elevator that sits on the first floor. Slash presses the button for floor two.
"Do you ever get bored staying in hotels all the time?" Danielle looks up at him.
"Not at all," He shakes his head.
"How? I would," She seems genuinely interested.
"Because it's never the same place back to back for several days at a time. We move around, and there's stuff to go do, ya know? It would get boring if we sat in them all day, but we don't. Hence, how I met you," He smiles at her. Danielle feels a warm smile creep upon her face. Her stomach turns, but not in a bad way. Like butterflies, almost.
"True, there is that," She responds.
The rest of the way to their room was silent. They both were hoping that Steven and the girl he was with were asleep, or gone somewhere. When they get into the room, they're greeted by Steven sprawled out butt-naked, asleep, on the bed. No girl in sight.
"Oh well isn't that nice," Slash laughed.
     "Super," Danielle smiled.
"Here, I have an idea. I'll be right back," Slash brushes his hand against your lower back before leaving the hotel room. Danielle stands in the middle of the room, her arms crossed over her body.

Slash comes back with a stack of blankets and pillows from the lobby.
"You're gonna make a pallet?" She asks.
"Ding ding ding," He sets everything down and begins to make the makeshift bed on the floor. Blankets first, then the pillows, "Is that enough?" He places his hands on his hips.
"It should be," She takes her shoes off and pushes them against the wall. Danielle lays down on the pallet and pulls a blanket over her body. Slash sits in the corner of the room which an arm chair occupies. He lays his head back, ready to go to sleep. Danielle notices a space beside her that felt too empty. She sits up.
"You don't wanna sleep here?" Her voice is quiet, now caring whether or not she wakes Steven.
"I made it for you," He mumbles.
"I can share," She lays back down, but keeps her eyes open.
     "No, it's fine."
"Please, I feel bad that you're gonna sleep in the chair. Especially without a blanket or anything," She frowns.
"I don't really care," His mumbling becomes more and more inaudible as he drifts off to sleep.
"Wake up," She speaks just a little louder. Loud enough for it to make Slash raise his head. He begins to grow irritated.
     "What?"
"Come lay down on this comfortable piece of work you did," She isn't going to let him sleep anywhere else, and at the point he's done with the back and forth.
     "Fine."
"Thanks," She closes her eyes. Slash gets up and walks toward the pallet in the middle of the hotel room. He slips underneath the blanket and lies beside her. He watches her, she's completely passed out. He turns his body so that he's facing her. As his eyelids grow heavier and heavier, his muscles go from tense to relaxed. He's asleep.

"Rise and shine!!" A holler comes from outside the hotel room, followed by a banging on the door. It sounds like Axl.
"Police! Open up!" That was Duff. The three people occupying the hotel room all shoot up. Steven was hanging off the bed, but the banging sent him to the floor. He's wide awake. Slash's eyes open, but he stays laid down. His head turns toward the door.
"What?" Danielle mutters groggily.
"There's no police, it's just Duff and Axl," Steven stands up from his resting spot on the floor. He has no idea that he's naked.
"Steve, you should put some pants on," Slash smirks, a little chuckle escapes him. A smirk grows on Danielle's face as well.
"What're you talking about?"
"Look down," Slash covers his face due to laughter. Steven glances down, his face drops.
"That bitch took my clothes!" There's a minor sound of panic in his voice. This sends Slash into a laughing fit.
"You might wanna find some," Danielle chimes.
"Yeah, no shit," Steven rubs his face, temporarily, he uses a blanket to wrap around himself, "I'll be right back," He leaves the hotel room.
"Are you hungry?" Slash turns toward Danielle.
"A little," She sits up and shrugs.
"Let's go downstairs and see if they've got breakfast. What time is it?" Slash sits up as well and pulls the blanket off of him. He's still in his clothes from night before. A white wife beater and black leather pants. To be fair, Danielle is also in her clothes from last night, but they're nowhere near as uncomfortable as leather pants.
"Nine-twenty-two," She looks at the clock on the wall, "You slept in that?"
"In what?"
"Leather pants."
"Oh, yeah, guess so," He shrugs and stands up.
"Why? That's so uncomfortable," Danielle cringes at the thought.
"I didn't want to make you uncomfortable," He walks up to the full body mirror that hangs on the closet door. His hair is a mess. He does is absolute best to fix it with just his hands.
"I'd rather you sleep comfortably," Danielle stands up and joins him at the mirror, standing just a little behind him.
"Nah, it's fine," He sniffs and leans closer to the mirror in order to get a better look at his face. Danielle just watches him. Returning the favor of admiration.
"I like your nose ring," She points to her nose subconsciously.
"Thanks, I like it too," He smiles.

The two of them go downstairs into the lobby where the breakfast is. Each of them grab a plate and begin to go through the line.
Once they're out, Danielle has a bowl of oatmeal and a big waffle topped with syrup on her plate. Slash has a ton of bacon, hard-boiled eggs, and a couple pancakes with butter and syrup. They sit down at a two-person table.
"You like eggs?" Danielle's face scrunches up.
"You don't?" Slash picks one up and shoves it in his mouth.
"Man, he's eating breakfast with her too. Wish he would treat me that good," Axl jokes with Duff and Steven, they just got into the lobby. The three of them laugh over the joke. Steven's in some of Duff's clothes at this point. Axl wouldn't share his. The three of them approach the two eating people.
"You eat oatmeal?" Axl looks at Danielle. His face in pure disgust.
"She likes it," Slash defends. Axl's eyebrows raise.
"Someone's in L-O-V-E," Axl bursts out laughing. Danielle feels her cheeks grow hot, Slash's too. He's tensed up.
"I'm being nice, dick," Slash scoffs. Axl's laughing dies down quickly.
"Yeah whatever, hurry up and eat though, we've gotta get on the road," Axl shrugs.
"She's coming with us, by the way," Slash speaks with a mouth full of pancakes and bacon.
"What?" Axl furrows his eyebrows, "Says who?"
"Me? Who else?" An attitude is provided by Slash.
"You don't get to make decisions like that," Axl crosses his arms. Steven and Duff are in the line to get food, so they're missing the bickering.
"Yes I do," Slash does not make eye contact with Axl. Instead, he sneaks a quick glance at Danielle, who is zoned out. He feels bad, "Can we talk about this later?"
"We aren't some married couple, dude. We can talk about it now or forget about it," Axl crosses his arms.
"Ok? Then forget about it," Slash stands up and taps Danielle's shoulder. Signaling her to get up. Her food isn't finished, but she's full. Axl shakes his head. Danielle snaps back into reality and looks up at Slash, "C'mon," His voice is soft, quiet, and comforting for Danielle to hear again, instead of the irritated one that was emitted from him when speaking with Axl.

On the tour bus, each of the band members pair up and sit with one another. Steven, Slash, and Danielle all sit with one another and Axl, Izzy and Duff sit together.
Slash has a cigarette hanging out of his mouth as well as a beer in a cup holder to his left.
"So, how come you got to bring a girl?" Steven crosses his arms and pouts in his seat.
"Because he's a dipshit," Axl joins the conversation.
"Jesus Christ, Axl. Chill, man," Slash's voice sounds distressed. His arms cross. Their little dispute does nothing but make Danielle feel miserable.
