sleeping was probably one of jiwoo's favourite thing to do in the world. coming home from stressful schedules to lie in her bed brought her the most comfort. of course she couldn't always stay in bed forever as much as she would love to. jiwoo turned to her nightstand; reaching to turn her alarm off.
she lay there for a few moments staring at the ceiling but was interrupted by a bunch of kiss being placed on her cheek. a smile was immediately placed upon her face before she turned to face her boyfriend. "happy birthday baby," her boyfriend said continuing to kiss her on her face. "thank you love," the girl said. if it was on thing she loved about her birthday was the amount of love she received from others.
remebering that she need to go to the company, jiwoo turned to get off the bed but was pulled back into her boyfriend's chest. "lovie i have to get ready," she said "just a few minutes." he said snuggling closer to her. though jiwoo wanted to stay in bed and cuddle with coups for hours she had to go to the company plus she also made plans with her mom to go shopping later.
"later we go cuddle as much as you want; but right now i have to get ready love," she said. "fine." he said clearly sulking about the situation. "i love you too" she said. she took a shower, brushed her teeth, picked an outfit and did her skincare and makeup.
as soon as she started putting on her jewelry, she heard her boyfriend still sulking about her leaving so early in the morning. "you're acting as if i'm leaving you for the rest of you life." she teased loving ther reactions she's getting from him. "it feels like it," he says grumpily. "i'll be back", "you can film it later in the day, come back to bed." he whined.
"i can'ti have to meet my mom later." she said while laughing at him. after she finished putting on her jewelry, she walked over to her bed and gave him a kiss on his forehead. "we'll spend time later I promise." she said, "mhm text me when you reach there." he told her; "i will." she replied.
when jiwoo arrived at the company, she made sure to text s.coups letting him know she arrivedsafely before entering the building. after she ended the live, she got a call from her mom, "hi mom." jiwoo said "hi, are you still going to the mall?" her mother asked; "yeah I just finished my live, i'll see you there." jiwoo said before hanging up.
when she arrived, she found her mom and the two of them started looking around the mall, "jiwoo, do you think this looks good on me?" her mother asked. "omo it looks really pretty." jiwoo said looking at her mom; "buy before someone else finds it." she whispered while observing the store to ensure no one heard her, "ok." her mother said laughing at her daughter's antics.
as soon as the finished their shopping trip, they started to feel hungry so the looked for a cafe close by. when they went inside the orded their food and waited until they were serverd, "i can't belive you're twenty seven now, it felt like yesterday you were a baby" her mother said after biting into her pastry. "yeah the years went by fast." jiwoo replied.
"how's the boys?" her mom asked, it wasn't uncommon for her mother to ask about the members whenever they talked or saw one another. in fact she's often requesting that the members come and eat at her house. "their good." jiwoo said, "and how's you and Seungcheol?" her mother asked while smirking at her daughter.
though she has genuine enjoyment teasing her daughter about her relationship, she couldn't be happier that her first daughter has found someone that she wants to spend the rest of her life with. it made her feel assured that jiwoo and scoups will have a bright future together. "we're good." jiwoo said as her cheeks were bright red. "that's good, you two remind me of you're father and I." her mother said. after the two finished their pastries, they said their goodbyes and went there separate ways.
however at the dorm, the members were rushing around trying to ensure that everything was in place to suprise the birthday girl. "yah hurry up and get the cake before jiwoo comes home." scoups yells, "hyung, where's the matches?" dino asked, "check in the cabinet." scoups said; "hurry noona will be home soon," mingyu said.
"the one time we had to surprise noona, and we can't do it right," seungkwan said while pacing anxiously around the room. before anyone had the chance to seungkwan, they heard jiwoo entering the password for the door. "hurry take off the lights," hoshi said. they lit the candles and joshua turned off the light. when she entered they started singing.
"happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you, happy dear jiwoo, happy birthday to you." the members sang. then hoshi and dokyeom started the party poppers. (🎉) "thank you." jiwoo said while smiling. "alright let's eat now!" hoshi yelled. the members spend the rest of jiwoo's birthday eating, laughing and watching her open her gifts.
as soon as the members went to their respective dorms, jiwoo started getting ready for bed. "hi love" scoups said before closing her bedroom door, "hi" jiwoo said smiling at him from their bed. he climed onto their shared bed, wrapping his arm around her shoulder. "i wanted to give you your gift after everyone left." he told her. "why?" she said while smiling. "because I wanted to i brought it so I can surprise you," he started to whined.
"ok ok I'll open it now." she said. he gave her a black box that he had in his hand waiting patiently for her to open his gift. opening the box impatiently, she gasped at the sight of what was in the box, it contained a gold locket. "it's really pretty." jiwoo said picking up the locket to examine it. "open it, there's a surprise inside." he told her.
when jiwoo opened the locket, she started tearing up. inside of the locket contain a photo of her grandmother on one side and a photo of the two of them on the other side. "i know how much your grandmother mean to you, so I asked your mom for a photo of your grandmother." he told her. as soon as he finished talking, jiwoo grabbed his face in her hands and pulled him into a passionate kiss.
when they pulled away from the kiss, the two stared at each other lovingly in the dark room. "thank you," jiwoo said while looking at him; "your welcome my love," he said.
