Our drive was a really long one and we arrived at the place and i had to admit that it was worth the drive.

A modern structured wood house was constructed beautifully.

Despite the footwear that protected my feet I could still feel the hotness of the sand. Tall palm trees and coconut trees grew around and the view of the wavy water was beautiful making the place appear like an island

"Aunt can I get down?" She asked and I quickly shook my head. "No sweetie, the sand's very hot I'm sure you don't want to burn your feet?" She shook her head and clutched tighter into my body.

Raul helped carry our bag down and we went into the cabin. The inside was designed perfectly and luxuriously yet very cozy.

"This is beautiful" I muttered as I looked around.

I wonder how much the architects of the D'Amanos earn for all these wonderful master piece.

"Mamá, where's Joanna?" He asked with creased brows and I realized that I haven't seen his other sister, the architect who he told me about

"She went on a trip with her friends but she'll be joining us this evening" she informed and he nodded.

"C'mon let's all get some rest I'm sure y'all must be tired and then we can have lunch in an hour time" she piped out and we all agreed

"Nikki baby come here" Mia called and she got down from my body and went towards her.

"Let's get you all cleaned up alright then you can have fun" she nodded excitingly and left not before waving at us.

"Sis can i talk to you?" Luca's question made me halt my step and I looked at him with a worried look.

"Should I wait for you?" Raul questioned with a worried look and I shook my head with a smile.

"No, you can go I'll meet you soon" he nodded and left.

"Hurry up dude we still have a game to finish" Bianco patted his shoulder and left. When did they become so close? I wondered

"Hey, is anything wrong?" He shook his head and led us outside.

We stood beside each other at the shore with our arms folded.

"What is it?" I asked and turned my head to face him. "Dad's coming over to Spain for the summer" he informed and I blinked at the information.

I turned my head away to look at the horizon staying silent for a while. "Luca I don't think that will be okay with the D'Amanos" I spoke in a faint voice.

"No sis he isn't joining us, he decided to have a vacation in spain so he can see you, wouldn't you give him a chance to explain things to you?"

I remained silent thinking about it.

"I really do want to hear dad out but i- I don't think I'll have time to that" I whispered and he took in a deep sigh. He pulled my hands into his and forced me to look at him.

"This is a vacation sis, there'll always be a spare time for you to make out to talk to dad"

I didn't say anything and just nodded.

"Really?" He asked excitingly and i smiled confirming my answer.

"Thank you sis, dad will be so happy to hear this" I saw no point in being angry with him cause i have no right to be when i did the same thing.

I understood why Luca was so happy and why he easily forgave him, that's because between the both of us he was closer to dad.

Every weekend dad will take him for a drive round town in Malibu, they'll go fishing together or go see a basketball match cause of Luca's love for the sport.
