I open the lunch bag. Inside was a note that said me meet me out front by your car. I hadn't noticed that he had left I stood up.
"Where are you going" I heard a voice say I looked back and saw a cheerleader standing there with her squad behind her.
"Um out to my car to get some lunch" I mumble and continue to walk towards the door.
"Your not going anywhere I saw you with Peter" she sneered.
"So" I snap back.
"So he's mine so stay away or else" she stood there tapping her foot.
"Or else what" I ask.
"Or else this you bitch" she grabbed a coke from her friends tray and dumped it in my hair, and shoved me backwards causing my head to hit the glass. I was trying to get up when a giant hand hit my face. I looked up and saw a basketball player with the cheerleader in the background. He kicked me repeatedly, picked me up and threw me on the ground. I suddenly saw Peter run up grabbing his hands to block the punch from my face.
"Get the fuck away from her" he shouted. The basketball player walked away. The last thing I saw was Peter coming to my aid.
I woke up in a unfamiliar room. I sat up my head throbbed I remembered the events from earlier today and started crying. I let out a sob when I heard Peter coming to the room. He looked at me with sad eyes, and sat down embracing me into his arms.
"Sshhh" he murmured "it's going to be all right".
"I I'm s-s-sorry" I say between sobs. He just rocks me back and forth.
"Is she your girlfriend" I ask. He looks at me bewildered.
"No I don't date any one" he responds.
"Why" I question.
"Because I'm scared" he says before getting up. I follow him into the kitchen.
"Where are your parents" I looked around and see a small apartment.
" I live alone" he mumbles while opening and closing cabinets. He poured a glass of Pepsi and took some Tylenol out of the cabinet. "For your head" he says. I take the pill swallowing hard. "Do you need to call your parents" he holds his phone out to me. I shake my head.
"I need to get home" I shout from the living room. I hear him grab his keys and walk to the room.
"Let's go then"he walked out of the house and I followed , when we lakes outside the sunlight hit my face and warmed my skin.
We got into the car I leaned my head against the window and closed my eyes. I woke up and I was laying on my couch I sat up. I looked at the coffee table and there was a note on it

I reached for my purse which contained my cellphone. I dialed the number and on the 2nd ring he answered.
