If you could, would you run away?
*
People said running away would never make you free. But, as she rolled down the window to let the howling wind caress her face, she tasted freedom. She laughed as trees whizzed past her because she was leaving everything behind. She laughed until the first rays of sunshine peeked over the trees and then, she cried. She cried because the road ahead of her seemed never ending and she didn't know where she was going. The world looked strange at this hour; it was too big and she was all alone.
She cried because everything she was running away from was in her head.
