song: party monster by the weeknd

the four friends were back at the usual spot for house parties, also known as ashton's place. first walked in josh, jules leading carefully behind him. he held the door behind him for andrew, who had his arm wrapped around izzy's waist, keeping her close to him.

jules smirked as she looked around, the smell of alcohol and weed instantly filling her nose. it gave her a rush of excitement when the reality hit in that tonight would be another night she could get fucked up.

she turned around to search for izzy, noticing andrew whispering something in her ear. jules watched their eyes slowly move around the room and land on the dark corner of the living room.

there, michael was standing against a wall, cup in his hand, eyes glued on izzy and andrew. jules attention switched back to izzy, who's eyes had become filled in stress as she tried holding andrew back.

"hey hey hey" jules said, running towards andrew. she held her hands in front of him in attempt to block his path. "andrew chill we're at a party right now, don't let him get to you."

"nah move, he's fucking in for it right now" andrew spit, his eyes the darkest shade of brown they've ever been.

luckily for the girls, josh walked towards the group. "what the fuck are you retards doing right now?" he asked, his brows furrowed in confusion at the sight.

"tell andrew to relax!" izzy pleaded as her hands tightly held onto the hood of his sweatshirt.

"michael's here"

that was all jules had to say for josh to laugh in andrew's face. "dude, cmon bro don't let that motherfucker get to you. he's just mad that you're the one holding his chicks waist right now."

"excuse me, i'm not his chick" izzy cringed.

andrew took a few deep breath's before relaxing his body and taking izzy's small hand in his, then exiting the room.

"he really needs to work on his anger" jules said, her and josh now walking down the long hallway filled with bodies, and making their way to the kitchen.

"he's andrew, that's never gonna happen" josh laughed.

"have you worked on your anger?" jules half smirked, her lips trying to conceal her smile. she knew the answer but loved messing with him any chance she got.

josh pulled her closer by her waist, then pressed his mouth closely against her ear, "how about i take you to the bathroom and show you?" he smirked.

jules pushed him off her, cringing at his words.

"you're not smooth at all"

"shut up, you love me" he laughed, bringing her body closer to his again as they continued pushing through people in the crowded kitchen.

quiet "excuse me's" left jules' mouth as they managed to squish through.

"you need to stop being so nice to people, especially these assholes from school. be more like me, jules, and shove them out of your way," he told her, "either that or give them that look that'll have them afraid for their life if they don't move."

"maybe with some alcohol in me, sure." jules giggled.

just as she was about to leave the kitchen with josh, in stumbled andrew and izzy. "i got shots!" she cheered handing them out to the other three.

"on the count of three, okay?" josh said, "one...two..."

before he got to three andrew chugged the shot, then quickly grabbing the bottle to take three more chugs at it.

"yo chill out" josh snarled, "we've got all night and more so relax, dude."

just as josh was finishing his sentence, jules grabbed the bottle to do the same, except she managed to quickly gulp down two extra shots.

"now i feel left out, pass the bottle" izzy sighed, her hands reaching out for the now almost empty bottle.

josh rolled his eyes watching her take two sips.

"i need to fucking smoke something, you're all stressing me out right now."

"why?" andrew said, his words sounding already slurred.

"because you're all fucking dumb."

"cmon izzy let's get out of here, i wanna go dance!" jules shouted. her hand grabbed onto izzy's as she pulled her through the kitchen, past the hallway, and finally at the living room.

lights of color flashed around the high ceiling room, loud throwbacks blasted through all the speakers, and smoke from not only the fog machines filled up the room.

"this is my soooooong!" izzy slurred, her hands still connecting to jules' as they swayed their hips to the beat.

"hey, where'd you get that vape from?" izzy shouted over the music while still attempting to dance without falling over.

"i don't know," jules shrugged, "i just found it on the floor." the vape met with her lips as she sucked in the air and entering her lungs. out she blew the little puff of smoke, with a tiny cough escaping her mouth.

"oh god, michael is still standing there watching you."

"fuck him! he needs to get a life, seriously!"

"maybe he thinks you look so sexy and irresistible, i mean i think so." jules giggled, spinning izzy around in a circle by their hands.

"dance on me, let's see him get flustered. it'll give him memories of your past."

izzy swung her body around and leaned onto jules to sway her hips in motion. jules cheered as their hips met with the beat, perfectly syncing up.

"is he looking?" izzy asked, still trying to dance on point.

"i don't know, i can't really tell, he's... gone?" jules answered as she carefully scanned the room, when suddenly loud thumps and sounds of shattered glass began taking over the music.

"what the fuck is tha-"

"GET THE FUCK OFF OF ME DUDE" a deep voice screamed, sounding rather close.

izzy and jules shoved through people trying to make their way up to where the chaos was happening. their mouths dropped wide when realizing what was going on.

"a-andrew?" izzy freaked.

"holy shit..."
