Later Taylor sat in the living room with Jack in her arms. In some way she was surprised about herself. She just ended her marriage, but to be honest she wasn't as devastated as she expected it to be. She thought back about all the dreams and plans Nick and she had together but now, there was no sadness or anger to her surprise but peace and quiet of happiness. She had seen Nick like she had never seen him before or maybe never wanted to see. Due to his reaction in the hospital and his behavior today all her love she once had felt for him was gone. She knew she had made the right decision and there were no regrets.

"Who needs a husband when you have such a cute little baby boy, right Jack?" Jack giggled and made a face like he wanted to agree with his mom.
"Yeah you're my good boy and I will always be there for you. I promise!" She hugged him closer.
She was aware, since everything was settled in the house, she had to think about the next big step. "Now we just have to find a way to tell your daddy about you. Maybe I should call him and invite him over. What do you say Jack, shall I call your daddy?" Jack let out another giggle. Carefully she laid him back into his crib.

Taylor was a little bit afraid to make this phone call. It was obvious to her, she couldn't wait any longer, Nick knew the truth and meanwhile Brooke for sure too and she definitely wanted to be the first person who would tell Ridge that he had another son.
Finally she put all her strength together and dialed the number of her ex-husband.
"Hey Ridge, it's me Taylor!"
"Hey, what a surprise to hear from you. Now tell me, what's going on? The kids mumbled, something happened between you and Nick, but they didn't go into further details."
"What? Yeah there is a lot going on right now. Listen, actually this is the reason why I'm calling. The situation is pretty complicated and not so easy to explain. Maybe you could stop by the Belair mansion tomorrow afternoon. I have some important news for you. Really important news."
"You moved back into our house? That's sounds not good. Are you alright?" Ridge started to worry.
"I'm fine really! So what about tomorrow, let's say around three pm?"
"Okay, I will be there, so see you tomorrow."
"See you tomorrow Ridge, bye."
Taylor went back to the crib. "Did you hear that Jack? You will meet your daddy tomorrow." But meanwhile little Jack had fallen asleep.

All next day long, Taylor was a nervous basket case. Flashbacks came up about the time when she told Ridge the truth about Thomas. And now she was nearly in the same situation. Again Ridge would learn that his nephew was in reality his son. She tried to calm herself down. On the table lay the documents from the hospital, so Ridge could read with his own eyes that Jack was his son. When the doorbell rang Taylor was anything else then ready but now it was too late to back off. With a big welcoming smile she opened the door.

"Hey good to see you! Please come in!"
Ridge stepped in and they gave each other a big hug. It has been a while since the last time they've seen each other. Ridge looked at her skeptically. He was more than irritated when he saw his ex-wife. Since their phone call he wondered what went on with Nick and her. He was shocked about the news that they obviously had some major issues after their baby was born. He couldn't stand Nick and he was never in approval of this marriage, but he still cared deeply for Taylor and he wanted her to be happy. Taylor recognized his staring and was puzzled.
"Is something wrong?"
"No I'm just confused, I mean your marriage seems to be in deep trouble and you are now alone with a little baby. I expected you would be depressed or devastated. Actually I was quite worried about you."
"Oh well that's thoughtful but you don't have to be. I'm fine." Ridge wasn't convinced.
"I'm okay really. Yes it's not easy and to tell you the truth, my marriage is over. Nick and I signed the annulment papers yesterday." Ridge couldn't believe it.
"Really? Whoa that was a quick stunt. Well what did Popeye do to you?"
"It wasn't just Nick's fault and in the end it was me who made the final decision."
"What?! Now I'm completely lost. I want to know everything."
"You will get all the answers but first.."

Taylor took his hand and pulled him to the crip.
"There is someone who wants to meet you." She took the little boy in her arms. "May I introduce you to my son Jack!"
"Jack? You named him after your father?" Taylor nodded.
"A beautiful idea and a beautiful name. Hey little Jack, I'm your uncle Ridge." Tenderly he stroked the little fingers and played with them. He didn't notice Taylor's expression about his comment. He smiled at her.
"Congratulations! I'm so happy for you!" He turned back to Jack.
"And you little fellow should be very proud. You got an extraordinary wonderful mother." Taylor blushed over his compliment.
"He is soo cute, may I hold him for a moment?"
"Sure!"

She handed Jack over to him and carefully he took him in his arms. He rocked the baby gently and summed. From the moment Jack was in his arms Ridge overcame a weird feeling. It was the same weird feeling he had when he held Thomas for the first time. Ridge tried not to put too much importance to this feeling. Jack was, after all, Taylor's son and the half-brother of his children and his nephew. Jack was family, so it was only natural that he felt connected to him. Still, Ridge couldn't shake off the feeling. He felt a special bond with this little boy. Taylor beamed inside and her heart soared when she saw Ridge so intimately with Jack. She fervently hoped it would not be for the last time. Ridge, meanwhile, looked at Jack more closely.
"Don't you think Jack looks a lot like Thomas? He looked identical when he was a baby."
"Yeah, I noticed that right away." Taylor glowed. She was immensely pleased because Ridge had noticed the resemblance himself. Maybe it would make it easier for him to face the truth.
