I stared up at the nighttime sky. How was it possible to have so many stars? Infinity was possible, but to fill it was a whole different concept. I immediately spotted several constellations. Mentally, I took pictures of the small clusters, and saved them to my memory. Who knew when they were going to burn out, and if anyone would remember them. This way, I could think of them forever. I stayed outdoors for minutes longer, soaking in all the beautiful glimmering lights in the sky. I finally got up and wandered over to the front door.

I walked inside my cozy little house, and ran up the stairs just aside the main entrance, skipping a few in between. I strode down the hall to my bedroom, passing my younger brother's room. I internally laughed at his loud snoring. He was only ten, but he could snore up a storm. I had another sibling too, his name was Dylan. The one I had just passed by, was James. I called him Jamie, like everyone but my father's parents. Grandma and Grandpa called him James.
I entered my room, and belly flopped onto my warm bed. I let out a sigh and lazily rolled over. After a second of debating whether to get up or not, I got up and changed my skinny jeans and t-shirt into loose shorts and a tank top. I fell back into my bed, and rolled up in my fuzzy blankets. I thought of the stars. So many, but so little in the big scheme of things. They were like puzzle pieces, that fit into the big picture that was the universe. I soon grew tired, and couldn't continue my contemplating thoughts. I faded, slowly, into oblivion.
