Chapter 4 - The smile in the depressed face

Welp, so this chapter it's a little vent i guess? And it probably will explain somethings of Umbra's design, little details that I recommend you to see it again in the same image at the chapter 0, so, don't look now, I can look when it's the right part, and it'll be very visible for you to see it, ok byee!

3rd pov:

After two months Umbra and Eden were used to the place, sometimes the same place a million times ends up boring Umbra, but it always find something to do, on the other side, Eden always try to stay quiet and calm, as always, they always try to communicate with each other, they became very good friends, but they didn't know each other that much, Eden is a good listener and Umbra is very talktive and energetic so Umbra always start a conversation, and this conversation can continue for a long time because Umbra's never without something to tell. Well, here comes Umbra with something new!

When Umbra arrived Eden gave a little smile, she likes to pass the time talking to Umbra, their special to her, Eden never stopped listening to them, always paying attencion to its stories and replying when they need to, that's one of the reasons why Umbra always pass its time with Eden, it likes when people listen to them, since it was human, but Umbra try not to think about it.

Eden's pov:

"He-ey Eden!" These are the only words that made me relieved, it was Umbra, it may talk to me everyday, but I'm never bored with this, i've always been a good listener, but mainly for Umbra, I've always liked to listen to their stories, but I've always questioned... how... how it still smiles after all it passed... it looks so happy... how it keeps smiling...

"E-Ede-en? Ede-en!" I heard it calling for me "hm?" I replied after stop overthinking, Umbra seemed worried for a moment because I never ignored them "Are yo-o-ou oka-ay? Did I-I do so-o-omethi-ing wrong?" It got a bit upset, I didn't mean to make it upset so I comfort it "oh no no, you didn't, I just.... disassociated" clearly it was a lie but I know how to hide it, I don't want to worry it so it continued talking and a smiled, I'm really happy to see them smiling, I could hear the same thing a million times and I'll never be tired of hearing it. Sometimes I nod to show that I'm paying attencion and replying when I need.... but I've always questioned about this one part of its head, this is the only part that's different, 2 eyes but no blinking, no emotion, nothing at all, I'm afraid to ask it to them, I'm afraid that they misundertand it... maybe I'm overthinking... maybe not... when the story ends up there's always a second book... I guess not, Umbra really finished the story, I gave it headpats and let it run through those infinite doors in the hotel, It is a nice place, but it looks like it's always raining, I wanted to take Umbra out to see the garden, maybe when stop raining, somehow....

3rd pov:

Eden's still with those thoughts about Umbra, and probably making some theories and, they came to a conclusion, it do show something, they remembered the time of the panic attack, it was the same 4 eyes, it was completely black, just like this corner, it was  the negative emotions, anger, panic, depression and fear, it really makes sense, it's not happy all the time, it is pretending...

Eden's pov:

I should do something... but how.... they need help, but I can't just tell those things, I can't... it will be upset, I don't want to see them sad, I'm not... I'm not used to negative emotions unless if it is anger, the only one that I'm used to see, most of the time because of Seek, but there are the others too, I can see that it really have some issues, it's visible, I can't let it pass, I need to help them, but I don't know how I'll help them... maybe... do the same thing as I did when we met...? I don't know...

3rd pov:

Eden looked very worried as she was, she was walking while thinking about a solution to this huge problem, they realized that they were overthinking so they went to the garden to take a breath, detail, as a spirit, Eden wasn't hit by all of the rain, so they're safe, and after the break they went back inside and took a walk, and that made her clear her mind, so really did worked, and Umbra? Umbra is being Umbra as a huge troublemaker.
