Chapter Six

Jermaine

I decided to take Skye to this pizza joint righr by the movies called Piccarelli's this pizza is the best in the Ville!

"Oh god. Trin told me about this place." She said laughing as we pulled up into the parking lot.

"What she say?" I asked.

"She said that this place has some bomb pizza and that i'm going to be messy eating it because it's just that good!" She said laughing.

"She told you the truth!" I said laughing as I opened the door for her.

We went in and took a seat at the booth right near the bar where we had a good view of the tv displaying the Cavs vs Bulls game. Skye and I exchanged facts about eachother and I was enjoying the moment. I learned about her dumb ass ex Drew, her rough childhood in New York, her daddy leaving her and her mom and ended up getting killed in a drive by and more. This girl is waaaay too beautiful to go through as much as she did. I see why she takes basketball as serious as she does. I also told her about myself, about my dad leaving, about my ex Tay and other things.

"Wheeew that pizza was the best, I felt like I was in New York all over again." Skye chuckled cleaning her mouth with a napkin and sipping her fruit punch.

"This is my spot, the team usually comes here after a win or something." I said chuckled. I also met Tay here, she was working but she has a new job now.

We arrived to the AMC and waited in the fairly short line to get tickets.

"So what have you decided for us to see?" I asked Skye as we got closer to the ticket giver person. She started to grin, watch this be some sad romantic movie like Titanic or some shit.

".....PITCH PERFECT 2!" She said excitedly.

"Oh hell na." I said giving her that "nigga" face.

"Pleassseeeee" she said attemtpting to make a puppy face but the face she was making was ugly as hell which caused me to laugh and give in anyways.

"Fine, 2 tickets to the 8:00 Pitch Perfect 2." I said reading exactly what the movie screening board said.

"Ok, and that will be $12.36" the lady said into the small mic.

Skye started to dig out the money for her ticket until I beat her to it and payed for both of our tickets.

"Hey I couldve payed for myself, you know that? I got money too." She said laughing.

"But I didn't want you to pay, keep your money and buy something nice, when you're with me, I got you." I said grabbing her hand leading her to the concessions, even though I just met her and this was our first day, i know it's kind of too much to hold her hand but I feel like it's a perfect fit, like we're meant to be.

"Ok I understand but that's not going to last long, it feels weird." I chuckled.

"Uhhhhhhh can I get a red & blue icee but dont mix it up, a small popcorn and some gummy bears. What about you Jermaine?" I said getting out her money.

"I'll just eat your popcorn so a small sprite would be fine." He told me.

I payed for the snacks and we headed to the room Pitch Perfect 2 was playing in and sat in the middle.

I felt real comfortable with Jermaine, but I don't want to get tooo comfortable because I know what boys are capable of doing. Drew came off nice, sweet and innocent too but look what happened.
