Chapter 4 - Sleepover

~Jin Ah's POV~
Today was such a long day! Although I was having fun, I kept on thinking of Chanyeol. Park Chanyeol, I think. It's amazing what you can find out through other people. I wish we had classes together. But that's probably not gonna happen.

Since it's the weekend, I'm going to Mia's house to have a sleepover with her and Mimi. I can't wait! It's gonna be so much fun! The bell rings. P.E is finally over!

"Bye, guys! See you at the sleepover," I say to my friends. Sigh. Now it's time to go home and get ready.

I walk into the house. My mom and dad are pampering my little brother. Of course. That little twat.

"I'm home!" I say to my family. I walk into the kitchen after dropping my backpack off in the living room. "Did you miss me?" I joke to my mom. She's a loving mother, and I couldn't wish for any other mom.

"Nah. I was too busy taking care of this little guy," she says, pointing to Alex. He was sick with a cold and wasn't at school today. She continues, "So are you gonna get ready to go to Mia's house now?"

"Yep," I reply. I give my dad a peck on the cheek.

"Hey, my little girl," he says. "How was school today?"

"It was good. Dad, I'm going to Mia's house, remember? Can we please talk later?"

"Ok, ok. Do you need a ride?" Aw. He's so caring.

"Sure, daddy. Thanks. I'll be right back after I get all my stuff." I walk up the stairs to my room. It's a fairly large room, if I do say so myself. The walls are a pastel purple, and all of my furniture is white. Even the carpet. I'm kinda OCD so I keep my room clean at all times. I walk into my bathroom to grab my toothbrush, hair supplies, and my facial necessities. I don't really wear makeup. I'm not one of those girls who goes crazy about concealing their blemishes. As a result, my facial routine is simple. I put all my stuff in a duffel that already has my clothes in it. Then I head downstairs.

My dad already has his car keys in his hand when I come down. Alex is asleep on the couch. Aigoo, that boy... (-_-) My mom is cooking dinner. Oh my, she's making ox bone soup. Sigh... I want some. Too bad I'm leaving.

I get in the car with my dad. He turns on the car and backs out of the driveway. Mia's house is only 5 minutes away, so we don't even talk. It's a silent ride. When we arrive, I say goodbye and ring Mia's doorbell. She runs to open the door.

"Hey, girl. Is goldfish here yet?" Goldfish is the term we use for Mimi since she has bad memory, like a goldfish.

"No, not yet," Mia replies. "She texted me 10 minutes ago saying that she just left the house. So she'll probably be here in about 10 more minutes."

"Ok, cool." We walk into the kitchen, where Mia's mom, Mrs. Ahn, greets me.

"Hi, Mrs. Ahn! Mmm... What are you cooking? It smells really good."

"Since you're over, I decided to cook your favorite. Pork wraps (보쌈). I'll cook Mimi's favorite too, but for a snack later."

"Mmm. So kimbap?"

"Yep," Mrs. Ahn replies.

"Hey, why aren't you cooking my favorite too, mom?! That's so not fair!" Mia inputs jokingly.

"Yah, that's because I cook for you every single day, young lady!" Mrs. Ahn jokes back. Mrs. Ahn is so cool. (^~^) She jokes a lot, even more than my mom. Ding-dong, ding-dong. The goldfish is finally here. Mia runs to open the door again.

She says to Mimi, "Come on in. Everybody's in the kitchen." The two of them come in.

"Annyeong, Mrs. Ahn," Mimi says. "How's your day been? Has Mia been annoying you more than usual? Does she need a special Mimi the Goldfish spanking?"

"Kkk, no, she's been behaving considerably well. Probably because she doesn't want me to cancel the sleepover. You guys should come over more often so she'll behave," she says to Mimi and I.

"Haha, we will," Mimi and I say in unison. Mia, Mimi, and I head upstairs to Mia's room. Gosh. Mia may seem organized, but her room isn't.

"So what do you wanna do first, guys?" Mia says to us.

"Let's watch a drama," I request. "I've been waiting for "Producer" to come out, and now it finally has. Kim Soo Hyun is so handsome."

"Ok," Mia replies. "Let's do it."

~Chanyeol's POV~
Sigh. School is over. The weekend is finally here, but I have literally nothing to do. Nothing. I would hang out with Baek, but he's out of town because his aunt died. But wait... I overheard Jin Ah, Mia, and Mimi talking about a sleepover they're having today. I wonder.....

That's when I decide. I'll call Owen, Mia's older brother. Owen and I know each other because my older brother, Ki Joon, is friends with Owen. I didn't even know that Owen had a little sister, much less that his sister was the girl sitting with Jin Ah the other day. I'll call Owen and ask how the sleepover is going. I need to go ask my Ki Joon for Owen's number.

"Hey, is this Owen Ahn?" I speak into the phone. "I need to ask a question."

"Uh, sure."

"Can I come to your house? I need to ask you in person."

"Wait, what? Why?" he asks suspiciously.

"Please. It's urgent."

"Fine," he gives in. "Meet me at my house in 30 minutes. I'm on my way home. I'll text you my address."
