Growing up, we're always told to live life to the fullest, to do the best that we can, to achieve all the possible things that we can. Then if we don't meet someone else's expectations, we get downgraded, told that we aren't trying our best, that we could do so much better. My question to you is, is that really true? Is everyone else's expectations of us the best we can do? I don't think so. A person's best is what they managed to achieve with or without the support and help from others. If someone's best is walking dogs for pay, then so be it, that's not them not trying. Sure, they may be capable of more I'm our eyes, but to them, that is the best they can do. Let that be their best, because if it was you in that situation, you wouldn't want to be told by some random person that you could do better.
