Chapter 18 ~The meeting~

Lucas POV

I kissed Ash on the head as I left to go upstairs. We had to get down to business. Ryan met me at the top of the stairs and greeted me as I came up.

"Any idea how this happened?" He asked me.

"No clue. But there's no way I'm letting that bastard run free after everything he's done." I growl.

He nods and opens the door to the office. I nod my head as a thank you and walk him. My dad and the other warriors were already in there. I took my place next to my father.

"All right. Let's begin." My dad states.

All heads turn to him.

"Mark Johnson, alpha of the crystal pack. 28 years old and mateless. We invaded his pack a couple weeks ago by the news of an omega being abused there. During the mission we found Ash, age 17. His parents are unknown and his mate is Lucas. Making him the future Luna of the pack." I state as I read the notes aloud.

I look at Ryan and gave him a nod.

He clears his throat and steps up.

"Today at 7:33 am I went down to the cellular to bring food to Mark. As I got there the door was open. I went down and the guards were passed out and Mark was gone. The guards are currently in the doctors ward awaiting to wake up. Until we can question them we don't know what really happened. But from the looks of it, it was an ambush to rescue the alpha. Probably set by his pack." Ryan concludes.

"We don't know for sure if Mark will come back for Ash but we guess he will. By doing so we fear he may have an army. It is clear though that we still have time. Mark is smart, he won't come barreling in with just him and his pack. He is going to prepare. Before he can be ready we will attack first." My father states.

"Until the guards wake up though we can't make a full plan. So until they do we will be increasing our boarder watch. Training sessions will also be intensified. We will keep this pack, and our future Luna safe. Do you hear me?"

The warriors along with Ryan and I agree.

Mark isn't going to get away with this. We talk a while more about a basis to secure the pack grounds better. We also came to the conclusion we may have a spy. The people who were supposed to be on patrol at the time by the cellular were all missing. Only someone in the pack should have know who was going to be there and their strengths.

We finally conclude the meeting and the warriors head out.

My dad and I walk out of the office with Ryan not far behind. As we make walk down the stairs I hear the giggling of my precious mate. I smile and walk faster down.

As I get to the kitchen I can't help but chuckle. Ash is sitting at the table with his hands and mouth covered in brownie batter and frosting.

"You've been busy huh baby?" I smile as I walk over.

"Make bownies! You eat?" He asks as he hands me a piece.

I take a bite and gasp dramatically.

"This is the best thing I've ever tasted! Are you a secret master baker?" I ask as I tickled his sides.

Ash giggles and squirms.

"Nuh dada!" He screams. I continue attacking his sides a little longer until I give. I scoop him into my arms and kiss his head.

"I love you baby boy."

"M"wuv oo too." He states as he snuggles into my neck.
