The third floor consisted of the homerooms for classes 3-A, 3-B, 3-C, 3-D, 3-E and 3-F. Along with a few other empty classrooms, which were used for club activities. They were hardly ever used, save for those activities. The spare classrooms were often used for activities that were more academically focused or reading centred. While the other clubs had their own personally designed rooms. The homerooms however, were off limits for all clubroom use. It was never explained why, it was just a fact. She presumed it was so that there wouldn't be a mess the next day when teachers came to teach.
In total, there were ten classrooms on each floor. Six were homeroom classrooms and four were spare classrooms. There were also six additional rooms; The RPG Club, the Gaming Club, the Art Club, the Occult Club, the Photography Club and an empty room. The empty room used to be home to the Broadcasting Club. Despite it being closed for a while now, all of the equipment was still in there. The Broadcasting Club was founded when the school first opened in 1979. Some clubs were founded by the school while others were made by students. The Broadcasting Club was a big aspect of the school, as the students would often help with announcements and helped teachers.
After the club's president committed suicide, the club closed down. It never reopened again. In order to function, clubs required five members at the very minimum. If a club didn't have the required amount, they would be given a single week to try and gain enough members. If they failed to do this, then the club would closed down. Unfortunately for the Broadcasting Club, they were closed down due to a lack of members, as no one wanted to join after the President's death. It was a shame really. It was one of the few she was interested in joining. However, Lulu didn't want to join it.
She didn't know the president that well, but she had seen her around. She passed away just a few months ago. No one knew why she did what she did. One day she was completely fine; she was cheerful and radiant. The next day, she was found dead behind the back of the school near the trash incinerator. There was no doubt that it was a suicide. There was a note and her shoes were by the rails. She still remembered being sent home by her teachers as clear as day. She only found out about the details a week or so after the death, and she partially wished she didn't find out.
Her death affected everyone, but especially her family. She didn't know her brother that well, (Only passing him in school as he was her upperclassman). He graduated when she went into her third year. However, she did know that he was very close with his sister. She could only imagine the pain he must be going through. If she ever lost Lulu... She didn't know what she'd do. The very thought made her want to cry; she and Adam were the most important people in her life. The only people who even really bothered with her, the only people who stuck with her through everything. Shaking her head clear of the thoughts of death and potentially losing Lulu, she continued her walk to her next class.
In the spare classrooms were the Anime and Manga Club, the True Crime Appreciation Club, the Idol Appreciation Club and the Foreign Language Club. Also on the third floor was the third year Science room and the Student Council room, and the headmaster's office. Since each respective class did Science at the same time, to prevent overcrowding, each year had their own respective science room. For example, classes 1-A, 2-A and 3-A all did Science at the same time as each other. Having so many students in such a small room would be dangerous, so it was split for safety purposes.
The school was shaped like a very large cuboid with a section in the middle where the 'indoor' courtyard was. The school had an indoor courtyard and an outdoor one. While the indoor one was technically located inside the school, it didn't have any covering. There were technically two outdoor courtyards; one in front of the school and one behind the school. The front one was guarded by tall iron gates with a cobblestone pathway leading up to them. The pathway was lined with tall and beautiful Sakura Blossom trees up until the main road, where the cobblestone path ended and the regular smooth pavement began.
