A few months passed and Mitsuri had passed her final selection it's been a few days of waiting but her sword should be coming tomorrow
Rengoku: your sword should be here tomorrow, and when that happens you'll go to your first mission
Mitsuri nods her head smiling
Mitsuri: I'm so excited I can-
Rengoku: there's nothing wrong with being excited, your enthusiasm is greatly acceptable but you still need a cautions mind demons will eat first and laugh later
Rengoku roars in laughter I'm just not trying to acknowledge Mitsuri too much, her uniform is too revealing for my liking, I requested that she'd request the same uniform lord kocho has but she doesn't wanna hurt anyone's feelings
(Flashback to when she got her inform)
Mitsuri: how do I look Y/N?
Y/N: *turning around* I'm sure you look grea- whaaaa?!
Mitsuri: is something wrong?
Y/N: Is that even corps approved?!

Rengoku: it is most certainly not!

As much as she looks nice in that, I wish she can request a change
I hear a knock on my door, I put down my pen and head over, I open the door and I'm greeted to Mitsuri
Y/N: oh hey Mitsuri!
Mitsuri: heyyy Y/N!
Idk why she dragged the hey on like that
Y/N: did you request the uniform change?
She exhaled
Mitsuri: no I haven't, I found this helps with my breathing technique so I'll be fine
She pulls me in a hug
YN: (oh come on!)
Mitsuri: I just wanna say thank you for the hospitality you and your family brought me, I'll be departing on my first mission soon, I wish we could've spent more time together
She released her hug as she walks away
Y/N: Mitsuri wait!
She stops and turns around her eyes looked shiny I approached her and I hand her a piece of paper
Y/N: I know this is too soon to say but I'm interested in you and I'd like to take you to dinner, perhaps next week, it's not a date just a casual dinner, we'll see how it goes. What do you say?
Mitsuri: yes!
She left the next day on her first mission, I hope it goes off without a hitch
