After Dawn lost the grand festival to Zoey and Ash lost the pokemon league to Tobias Ash, Dawn and Brock were in the pokemon center sleeping in their room, except for Dawn. She couldn't sleep and was thinking of what would she do next on her adventure. She was thinking of doing contests in the Hoenn region but before that happened she wanted to confess to Ash. You see Dawn had a crush on Ash since her first contest and she couldn't lose an opportunity to confess while she could.
"Wake up sleepy head you're gonna miss your ship" said Ash
"What time is it?" Dawn said half awake
I looked at the clock next to my bed
"10 ALREADY!?! I ONLY HAVE 1 HOUR!!!"
"Hey if you're gonna hurry you're definitely gonna make it on time" said Brock as he turned his head in Dawn's direction
"You're right I better hurry" Dawn said optimistically, she went out of bed and went to the bathroom.
TIME SKIP
"Well you still have 15 minutes until the ship's going to Hoenn" said Ash as he looked around the port.
"Wow this place is massive!"
"Yea it is" Dawn sweat dropped at the reaction of Ash.
The group looked around looking for the ship that Dawn is boarding.
"There!" Dawn pointed out the boat that they were looking for. She ran over to it as Ash and Brock ran behind her.
"Well, guess that this is a goodbye huh?"
"Yea I hope that we meet again soon!" Said Ash
"Take care Dawn" Brock added
"Ash before I go... I wanted to say something" said Dawn
"Yea?"
"...I love you" She said as she planted a kiss on his cheek. Ash was shocked, he didn't know what to say
"Even if you don't feel the same, it's fine I just wanted to tell you how I feel before it's to la-" Dawn couldn't finish when she felt a press on her lips. Ash had kissed her and quick enough Dawn had returned the kiss.
"Dawn, I love you too. You made me feel worth something in rough situations when I didn't know what to do. You truly made this journey the best" Ash said as the ship honked.
"Oop! I better get going. Bye Ash! Bye Brock!"
"Bye!"
"Bye!" Said both Ash and Brock as the ship drifted away.
This chapter is a remake of my older oneshot and I'm feeling pretty confident of it. It might be short but compared to the original it is long trust me. I'll try to make the other chapters longer. I will definitely be making more oneshots in this book and see you in the next chapter ;)
