Marinette and cat was in class. "Hey whose house do we go to, to start our project huh?", Marinette asked.
Cat looked at her and shrugged his shoulders. "How about my house?", Marinette asked. Cat smiled and nodded.
Marinette and cat came out of the school together and while they were walking out Marinette said, "hey we go to my house your gonna have to meet my parents", cat froze.
And he stopped walking. Marinette turned around and said, "don't be afraid their coming to pick me up and the drop me home and then they have to go somewhere........ So obviously you'll have to meet them because we're going to my house remember?", Marinette asked.
Cat smiled and nodded. They both walked to the bench and waited. A couple of minutes past and her parents finally arrive for them.
They walk towards the car. They got there and walked to the driver side window. "Hey dad and mom this is my friend cat from school and we have a science project to complete", she said while opening the backseat door.
Sabine smiled at cat and said, "hi there", cat waved. Tom smiled and said, "well don't just stand there hop in", he said gesturing to the backseat. Cat got into the backseat and Marinette smiled as he did.
They drove off and finally reached their house. Marinette got out and thanked her parents. Cat followed Marinette as she started to walk in the house.
Her parents left once she and cat got into the house.
Marinette put her bag on the couch and walked into the kitchen. "Make yourself at home", she said as she was looking into the cupboard.
Cat sat on the couch and watched her as she rumbled through the cupboard.
A couple minutes later Marinette and catnoir was sitting on the couch while talking about the science project...... Well Mary was doing all the talking ofcourse.
Marinette wanted to ask cat a question for a long time and she felt like this was the right time. "Hey can I ask you a question?", Marinette asked.
Cat nodded. Marinette sighed, "why don't you ever talk? Like you always nod or shake your head you never talk to anyone", Marinette said as she looked at him confused.
Cat noir's face turned pale. He sighed, he finally spoke after all those years. "Because I'm deaf", he said with an emotionless face.
Marinette gasped. "Omg I'm so sorry I didn't know", Marinette said frantically. Cat smiled and said in a tender tone, "it's ok I know you don't mean any harm" Marinette gave cat a hug. He was shocked but he hugged back.
