HEADCANON INFORMATION

Peppermint Cookie had been with Captain Ice Cookie since they were first baked. Forever a sea cookie in their soul jam, helping their family of sailors when they can. Coming as useful to the Captain, due to their ability to communicate with sea animals. A large family they make, sailing the seas together and helping creatures that inhabit it. Gumball had been a sea loving child since before he understood land. Having a family that revolved around the ocean always kept the kid close to the watery world he loved. Though this kept him isolated, not having any friends. The isolation became worse as a loved one disappeared. In search of his relative, he met Pirate Cookie. A mysterious, scruffy, yet optimistic cookie who held the child's dream. Promises were made between the two cookies. A new crew mate who joined their fleet. Dreams had a way of disappearing into air. Pirate routine not being the life he had theorized of. Nor the cookies on board he had joined being a caring crew. His best was never enough. No matter on the labor he followed when captain barked orders.

Times of overworking were no more, as a battle commenced a sailing journey later. Gumball attempted to assist again, once more enough being too far to reach. Out of a fearful retreat, the crew left with one less cookie. The little sailor heartbroken from being abandoned by his family fleet. The sympathetic second captain he saw before an enemy, decided to take him in. The past pirate was quiet on board, working without a word. Introductions were put into order. Which led Captain Ice to discover that her newest crew mate was selectively mute. Though she was dry on answers why. Gumball's lack of vocal communication didn't stop him from bonding. Peppermint and him connecting and thriving well. Never did Ice think she would be a mother of an extra child.

Sailing times continued forward for Captain Ice Cookie and her crew. Gumball Cookie turning out to be a very skilled assistant on the ship. Besides sweeping, the boy had a strong love for labor to keep the ship in good shape. Tasks that required heavy lifting were his favorite. Most of the crew considered him a wild child, due to his feral behavior in certain situations. Lifting jobs revealing he had teeth of steel. Times over his concerned family had stopped the stubborn boy in worry he'd lose a tooth. Though he always proved them wrong showing he could handle the strain on his jaws. Over time most stopped questioning it. Having gotten used to the wild child who joined the family fleet.

Unfortunately encounters with the rouge pirate hadn't ended after one spat. The fleets always battled, though nowadays Ice wasn't outnumbered. Gumball at first always battened down the hatches for himself. Seconds when he caught a glimpse of the pirate ship. However as time went by, his courage built up. Nowadays being the first to attack the opposing boat. Snapping on whoever dared to come close enough to his strong bite and sword. Peppermint always found that an odd preference. Gumball's strong dislike for pirates, yet loved to carry his sword around. Though none questioned it aloud, not even the wild child himself. The captain was grateful for the duo's friendship. The two kids reflecting good emotional support onto each other. Whenever negative emotions reared their ugly head. Gumball was there for his fellow buddy. Peppermint doing the same for the boy. Nowadays the two are great company for each other, both kids finally having another to play with. From whale rides to beach combing to playing fetch with Gumball's sword. The two sea loving kids grateful they have each other.

And now the family of sea cookies sail the watery waves, keen to patrol and protect the wonders they travel to.

Mainly posting this to see if people are interested. I desperately wanna do more with this HC but I have no ideas right now. So I thought posting may help me come up with ideas.
