Chapter 4

Gwen's POV:

"You have been doing very well my child. I've noticed that your are becoming more relaxed lately." Splinter stated in a pleased tone. I gave him and small smile and thanked him before going back to my meditation.

An hour passed and I was doing great. Splinter has helped me with my form for the passed month. But like always something or someone has to ruin it.

"It's Leo!" Raph said in a worried tone as he looked at Splinter avoiding eye contact with me. After he left Splinter and I exchanged glances before running out there.

Lately Leo has been going topside a lot and he will come back completely wasted. But other times Leo won't be back for a few days and we find him on a rooftop... completely beat up and bleeding.

When Splinter and I ran out there Raph was sitting on the ground by Donnie's lab door.

"Raph what happened? Is he badly hurt? Is he drunk again! Please tell me he isn't dr-"

"He...... Leo.. ugh.. He is having a mental break down?" Raph said a little confused himself.

"What has happened to him my son?" Splinter asked calmly but his eyes were filled with worry.

"He just came in screaming in anger and he... He looked at me before talking about killing someone or someone being dead. Next thing I know Charlie brings him in the lab and..." Raph trails off "I've never seen him like this. Please sensei you've got to talk to him!" Splinter nodded his head and quickly walked into the lab. I looked at him and noticed he had a bunch of emotions flooding his mind. I put my hand on his shoulder. He slowly looked up to me, the. He grabbed my arm and gently pulled me into his embrace before crying on my shoulder.

"I'm so sorry! For everything I've done!" He sobbed. Seeing him like this put me into tears "Babe it's okay! I'm fine, it's not your fault. Nothing is." He sniffled while burying his face deeper into the crook of my neck. " I love you." I smiled lightly " I love you too my big softie."

Donnie's POV:

"There's got to be another way!" Leo screamed as he threw another one of my beaker to the ground. Charlie and I exchanged scared glances for a second before Charlie tried to calm him down. He looked looked at her and snapped "Don't touch me!" She looked at the ground and walked to my side quickly. For a second I felt bad for both Charlie and Leo. I noticed how he looked at Morgan's body, which was surprisingly not even close to decaying and sighed deeply. Trying to hold back the tears.

"Leo I've done all my research! I've made all these different type of medicine and tested it but there is nothing we can do but this! I've tried everything! It's the only way." I said trying to make him feel better about this situation. He continued to stared at Morgan the whole time not even daring to look at me. I don't blame him though. If this was Charlie I wouldn't like to do this to her.

"Shouldn't her body already be decayed?" He asked changing the subject. I looked at Leo confused until a light bulb went off on my head. "I've looked for that answer to. There's no explanation for it." Just as I said that Splinter walked in the lab. He examined the room before walking over to Morgan's body. He studied her before turning around to look at us.

"Raphael has told me you are feeling troubled my son." Leo looked at him sadly and nodded before suddenly becoming angry "There's something wrong! Everything Donnie has been doing is great but the solution to this problem! There has to be another way!" Leo yelled as he clenched his fists into a tight ball. Master Splinter grabbed his shoulder and looked at me. "What is the problem my sons?" His calming voice seeming to calm Leo down like it always did. He was about to speak but i knew it woukd make him mad so I beat him to it. "The only way we can bring Morgan back is to use a formula I have created but the problem is... it has mutagen. It's the only way. I've tried everything!" Splinter stroked his beard while taking in everything I have told him.

"I see. There will be many scary things that could happen but look at us. We have turned out alright. If anything is to happen to her you guys shall help." Leo looked at him shocked. "So your saying we should do it?!" Splinter nodded his head. "I don't like to take this big of a risk.... but she is family. We will do anything to save our own family."

Leo nodded his head. Then he slowly started to walk out of the lab. "Charlie will you go help him please?" She smiled lightly and nodded her head. I smiled and kissed her forehead before she walked off. I looked at Splinter and saw him walking around. Then something came to my mind.

"Uhh Sensei may I ask you a questions?" He smiled and nodded at me.

"How have you been feeling? Ever since we got back from New York you seem to be more uhh.... hmm I don't know how to put it exactly but more-"

"Lively, energetic, healthy!" Splinter interrupted. "Ya that's it. It just came to to mind when I noticed you haven't been using your cane... and you were very ill before we left." Splinter nodded "Indeed I was. I guess I just got better."

I nodded my head a bit puzzled. "Indeed you did. You can go now if you would like Sensei. That's all I wanted to ask." I started looking at all my research as he smiled at me "Thank you my son." And with that he left.

I was a bit curious with Splinters being all Healthy again. Don't get me wrong I'm glad he is.... just... something doesn't seem right.

I looked threw all of Morgan's medical files, then I looked at all of Splinters while he was human and the ones I wrote when he came into my lab.

Everything seemed normal until I came acrossed a certain day. I looked further into it and was shocked by my research.

Morgan... and Splinter.... they are... well its gonna sound crazy but... they are related?! It wasn't just Karai who was his daughter! It was Morgan as well! I looked deeper into their history and found more and more shocking discoveries. More untold, shocking stories that nobody could explain..... but I can.
