Until When?

Chapter 01

Iris's POV:

"Oh my god! Really Tita?!" 

"Yes! And it was amazing! " Tita Mel said, laughing.

I sat on my bed and grabbed a pillow, I placed it on my lap and I faced my phone towards me.

"I really wanna ride one Tita, but I'm hesitating, baka kasi ano pang mangyare." I said while fixing my hair.

"You know, I also felt the same, pero kinaya ko naman, I actually enjoyed the rollercoaster."

My Tita Mel and I are on a call, she was talking about her experience in an amusement park, pumunta kasi sila kahapon. We always call each other, I always give her updates of our life here in the Philippines, she does the same too, she tells me the things that are happening in her life in California.

"Okay, enough na about me. How about you guys? How's school?" Tita Mel asked.

"Okay naman tita, I'm doing well in school, and so is Ingrid. I actually have a sleepover this weekend hihi."

"Oh, that's great then! Are you going to Aera's house? Is Ingrid coming with you?"

"Uhhh, actually... I didn't bother asking her hehe."

Everytime I go out with my friends, I always invite Ingrid, but she always declines. I really want her to join me, I want her circle to widen, but it just came to the point na I got tired of asking.

I want her to have friends, kahit isa lang, just someone that can accompany her. Of course I want her to be comfortable around her friend, and that's why I want her to meet my friends, because I have a feeling that she will like them.

"Why? You should atleast invite her."

"Ilang beses na akong nagtatanong sa kaniya Tita, everytime na may meet-up or group study ako with my friends, iniinvite ko siya, but she always declines, and I just got tired of asking narin."

"Well, today's a new day, you don't know, maybe she'll agree na."

I sighed and pouted. Don't get me wrong, I love my sister, that's actually the reason why I'm so persistent with her meeting my friends, pero I've been asking the same question for 2 years, I have already accepted her decision.

Pero tama rin naman si Tita, I have nothing to lose.

"I'll try, Tita. Pero if she declines, I can't do anything about it na."

"Okay! Goods! Now update me after ha, I really need to sleep na, it's 3 AM and I haven't slept Haha!"

"Okay Tita, Good Night!"

After that I laid on my bed with my arms spreading from each side, I'm holding my phone in my right hand. I took a breath and relaxed my self first. All I have to do is to ask her, you can do this!

I stood up and slightly opened my door, I took a peek at the sala. The tv's off, the lights are off, and there's no one on the sofa. I think she's in her bedroom na, maybe doing homework, it's impossible for her to be sleeping, it's 7 pm palang!

I turned off my lights before exiting my room. I tiptoed towards Ingrid's room and saw light coming from under her door. Her lights are on, baka nag-aasignment talaga siya.

"You know I can hear your footsteps right? Come in."

I got startled. How did she know?!

I slowly opened her door and immediately showed my smile. "Hey Rai, may itatanong lang sana ako."

Ingrid is on her desk, wearing her earphones. I noticed the mess, there were a lot of crumpled papers on the ground. She's scribbling something, I really can't tell what she's drawing.
