'It was NOT fair' you thought. You wanted to get the position for the defense against the dark arts class but now that Snape took it, you were the new potions master. Not that you wouldn't appreciate the headmaster for giving you this class, but Snape was doing fine with potions. Why they didn't leave it like that?

Anyway, it was as it was so you had to get ready to teach potions AND you had to do it perfectly because you didn't want to remain behind Snape. Though you had some advantages as a teacher, you were quite popular among students. A cool and good-looking person who was always up for fun and you could even tell some students had a crush on you.

It wasn't like you disliked Snape; you really admired the man even liked him but you wished he tried to communicate more with others especially you. You always tried to make conversations with him and he ignored you at first but as time went on, he would talk a few sentences but not much.

He eyed you as you walked through the corridor towards him. It was passed school hours so you were dressed very casually. A green hawaii shirt that you had left the buttons open except two in the middle and cargo shorts. That wasn't as stylish as you usually dressed but it was comfortable and you felt handsome wearing them. His impressions were always hard to read but you thought he kinda looked surprised when you greeted him with a smile because you usually wouldn't wander in the corridors at night.

"Hey there Severus" you said to inform you had something to do with him. He was organizing some vials in his storeroom as you stood in front of the door.

"Do you have a minute?" You asked.

"What is it?"

"Teaching stuff"

"What. is. it?"

"I said it's teaching stuff. If you don't have time, just say it" you huffed and turned your back.

"I do. I do have time" he said as you were attempting to leave. Finally, he turned his head to look at you.

"Great! I thought you didn't know how to make eye contact" you mocked.

" So, what are you struggling with?" He asked.

"This potion" you showed him your notebook and the recipe in the book. "It's a healing potion, I used to make it like this but today I realized there's a problem when it comes to functioning" you explain as he skimmed your notes. " It's supposed to heal any internal damage, right?"

"Right"

"Bones are internal organs, right? But it can't heal them"

"You sure?"

"Yeah, I tried it on myself! Look!" You showed him your left arm which was kinda uneven compared to your right one. "I wanted to show how it works in tomorrow's class so I put an insensibility spell on my arm and-"

"You broke your own arm?" He raised an eyebrow in disbelief.

"Um... yeah... But as you see it didn't fix that. I didn't use a spell cause I wanted to show you."

He grabbed your arm to take a closer look, then took out his wand to cast a healing spell on it.

"Ah thank you. But what's the problem?"

"What kind of dragon blood did you use?"

"Chinese fireball"

"Use Romanian longhorn's" he said "I personally use that and it doesn't have the same issue."

"Is that so!? That makes sense! Chinese fireball is a cartilaginous breed! Its skeleton isn't made of bones!" You said in an excited tone and your reasoning surprised him too.
