Chapter 39: A Cruse Mark Sealing

Kei's P.OV

I slowly opened up my eyes and groaned as I was greeted by a bright light shining on my face and squinted my eyes, trying to adjust to the sudden light in my face.

"Ugh," I groaned, rubbing my shoulder as I suddenly realized I wasn't wearing my outfit but a white grown."A hospital grown?" I questioned until a memory came to me.

Flashback...

"Come on; the next match is about to start," Mizuko sensei said, walking out of the arena as Sasuke and his opponent's name flashed on the screen.

I glanced at Mizuko-sensei as she turned and glanced at Kakashi, who was on team seven sensei until her attention focused on me again after the two nodded.

I raised an eyebrow in confusion, wondering what that was about as we continued to leave the arena.

As we exited the arena, we started walking towards a long hallway.

"Where are we going?" I asked, looking up at Mizuko-sensei.

"Don't worry about it too much. We're going to get your injuries treated, but first, we got a more critical matter to take care of," She replied as she less me all down a hallway leading towards a large door.

"What's this place?" I asked.

"This is where your mark is going to be sealed on up," She replied as she opened the large door, revealing a large room with stone pillars and a strange circle on the ground, and kunai on the floor."Get over and sit in the circle; Kakashi is going to seal the cruse mark soon as he gets here since he knows some sealing justu, unlike me," She explained as she led me toward the circle.

"Fine," I sighed, not in the mood to think about this mark that was given to my father, who I had never expected to be a criminal and never expected for so many people to keep that from me as if I was going to turn out like him.

"What the matter?" Mizuko-sensei asked after hearing my sigh.

"I'm sure that Kei here is just tired from her match," A voice suddenly said from behind us.

I turned to see Kakashi followed by  Sauske Uchiha had, walked into the large room.

"What are you doing here, Sasuke?" I questioned, glancing at the raven-haired boy.

"Sasuke, just like you, has the cruse mark and is getting it sealed as well," Mizuko-sensei replied."Also, guess you are right, Kakashi. She is probably just tired from her match."

"Okay, Sasuke, sit near one of the pillars," Kakashi said."Kei, you must remove your shirt so I can seal the mark."

"What?!" I asked, surprised.

"Relax, Kei, he is not going to watch you take it off, and it is really quick, and get the shirt back on as soon as he is done," Mizuko-sensei said, walking away from me.

"Alright," I replied, taking off my shirt to get this over with to hopefully see my teammate's matches.

Kakashi then placed a finger near my shoulder and down my back as. I slightly saw these red symbols appear from the corner of my eye. He then removed his finger before he spoke.

"Okay this will be over quickly," He said.

"He is right, so just try to stay still until he finishes."

"Yes, sensei."

"If you're ready, we will proceed," Kakashi said.

I nodded my head, signaling that I was ready for the sealing to begin.

Kakashi then put his hand together as I turned back around to hear him making quick hand signs.

"Cruse Sealing!" He exclaimed, placing a hand on my cruse mark.

My eyes widened as I felt a searing pain in my body, and I let out a scream breathing the heavenly pain that ran through my body intensely toward my shoulder.

"Ugh," I groaned as I slightly fell forward on my right knee with my arm proposing me up. As I was breathing hard as he removed his hand.

"There now, the next time the Cruse mark tries acting up. The seal's power should keep it in check," He stated." But remember, this Cruse sealing justu is only as strong as your will."

I turned my head slightly as he continued to talk. "It gets its power from the strength of your will. If that will ever weaken, if you ever start to doubt yourself, the Cruse mark will be unleashed with all its rage."

"Ugh," I groaned as the world around me started to go black as. My body began to fall forward face first.

"Kei!" Mizuko-sensei shouted was the last thing I heard as I fell face first on the ground as I completely blacked out.

Flashback over

As the memory left my mind, I looked around to see that I was in the hospital room.

'That right, I passed on out from the sealing of my Cruse mark.'

All of a sudden, I felt a cold chill flow inside of my hospital room, making me shiver slightly under the thin white blankets.

"Well, it looks like someone is finally awake from her slumber," A strangely familiar silky smooth voice said in a creepy tone, making me sit on up in surprise.

"Now, little hatchling, relax there," The person replied.

I turned my head to the left to see a familiar tall man walking away from the window.

"I'm not here to harm you, hatchling, simply a man who wishes to speak to his daughter."

"Father," I said, surprised to see my father in my hospital room.
