Chapter Three

Ryan's POV:

Beighlee was the best friend anyone could've ask for. It just sucked that we had to move away from her. My dad was always moving due to his job. Our moms were the best of friends, But of course my dad had to take the job up in a whole other part of town that was 5 hours away from Beighlee and her family, Our mothers never got in contact again, but of course they had each other on facebook, typical moms heaven for posting their kids on for other family members to see.

My mom saw that Beighlee and her dad got into a highly dangerous car crash, from what my mom told me. Erica, Beighlees mom said that Beighlee and Connor, Her dad. Were driving home from his birthday and Beighlee unbuckled her seat to get her stuffed animal on the passager floor. Connor went to reach for her and swerved off the road he instantly pushed Beighlee to the back of the car behind the passenger seat and he hit a tree along the road nearly flying out of the car, Landed on his head. Beighlee also suffered some minor memory lost. I guess when the car crashed, her flew towards the dash board and hit her head hard. Unfortunately, that's how her dad died. Mom and I flew out immediately to be there for them. I asked to see Beighlee and she never recognized me at all. " mom theres a strange boy holding my hand!" she wailed for in the room. Our moms came in and reassured her that i wasn't a stranger. But she simply did not remember. To this day our moms talk, but i completely disappeared from even saying hi, No point of she doesn't remember me.

" wake up Ryan, its your first day of your new school and i have to drive 2 hours just to get there, please get up." My mother walked in handing my uniform. The school was strict especially with uniforms NCH or NCA North Central Academy. Out uniforms are your typical grey, beige or black slacks, a white or grey t-shirt and the worst of them all the blazer. Ours came in two colors, black and a navy blue, with the logo patched on. I styled my hair and added some minor accessories, I had this bracelet that was given to me long ago by Beighlee, of course we made the friendship bracelet to big for us at the time, but as i continue growing i could finally fit it. I considered it my good luck charm as it helped me through everything. even if she doesn't remember who i was.

After getting ready for my first day at my new school on the drive there my mom sighed. " I should tell you something, you may not fully enjoy the news, but Erica suggested you go to school with Beighlee..." I heard Beighlee and screamed.

" so youll make me suffer in trying to get her to remember me mom?! She will always think of me as a dumb fucking stranger! i knew something was up when i have to go to school that's across town!! How stupid can you be mom!" I was enrage and didn't speak the rest of the way to school.

" I think will be best for you since you are still hung up about it. Plus she would need your help anyways." My mom sighed as she drove to the front of the school and i stepped out. I havent seen any recent pictures of Beighlee since a few years ago. I walked towards the office and i did my normal orientation, classes blah blah. I had class with Kendra, one the very first people to have welcomed me into the school. She mentioned a party tonight. I agreed, maybe i can drink away the problem, This wasn't the best timing for me.

" Real reason why I invited Ryan was because he's cute and I think you guys should talk, your both quiet haha!" Kendra laughs, I noticed the unfamiliar face looked up at me and i knew that was Beighlee. She looked so beautiful and my heart skipped a beat.

" except I'm not the quiet one. I'd that's the case I'll kiss my invitation goodbye Kendra." I glared glared at Kendra and Kendra smacked my arm

" aish take a joke, Ryan you are to serious." Kendra laughs. I looking at Beighlee then walked away fast down the hall.

" weakling!" Kendra laughs.

I sat in chemistry i had with Trent. Of course he was drooling over his girlfriend and he came yup beside me and wrapped his arms around me.

" Joining us for lunch wont you? I have very nice friends i would like you to meet. I know you met one of them. Kendra." I heard Kendra's name and rolls my eyes. " You will also meet Beighlee! she is single too man, I can set you up, But hey she's my little sister so i got to protect her if you hurt her. I know pretty boys like you are the worst heartbreakers on the planet.."

" oh that's what you think? then i don't think ill date her." I scoffed and walked away minding my business. The bell rang for lunch and Trent grabbed me and redirected me to the table Kendra and Beighlee was at. I sat beside her and scrolled on my phone a bit. She spoke to me and i froze. Her voice was smooth and delicate. Then her smile. Her god damn smile sent me flying and i looked away. Kendra stood up and started screaming. Trent pulled her away. I knew i had to come up with a lie. She didn't remember me anyways. She complimented the bracelet we made and how she has the one i made her. I smiled a bit in my heart knowing she had it.

I came up with the excuse that it was my best friend back at my old school. of course lying to her was rough. But she mention the party. I knew i had to protect her from anyone there. I knew i had to go for sure since it is her first party as well. I stared into her eyes and she smiled again and smiled back. Seeing kendra with an apple in her mouth and gosh it was worth the sight to see.
