The Demon King's Daughter

Prologue

A blue-haired, blue-eyed, woman is speed walking during the day. She's visibly anxious and constantly looking at the sun. It is clear to everyone that she's dreading the night. There was a spike in women, and children disappearing during the night, so no one is concerned about kidnapping, but little did they know the woman was petrified for another reason. She was a dead woman if she didn't find a place to hide. She did the unforgivable to him. She ran away with his child, and if she didn't find shelter soon, she would be found, tortured, her child taken and then eaten by their kind.

???: I can smell the wisteria! I'm almost there. I can't let them find her. I can't let him have access to her at all costs! They'll be out in a few hours. Just enough time to find a Demon Slayer and give her to them. She'll help, I know it she just needs a good influence on her life. I hope the Ubuyashiki family will take in his child.

The woman made it to the Demon Slayers' Headquarters.

???: "I need to speak to Oyakata-sama!"

~Oyakata-sama's Estate~

It's early sundown and Kyōjurō can tell that the woman was getting anxious and distressed.

Kyōjurō: "Otayka-Sama is a very kind person!"

???: "Why are you always shouting...If it's not insensitive to ask?"

Kyōjurō: "Permanent hearing damage from my fight with the flute demon!"

Amane: "Kyōjurō, what's the problem? Oh! Hello, hun. What's wrong?"

???: "I need to talk to Oyakata-sama quickly before he finds her."

The woman motions to the baby in her arms.

Amane: "Let me get him. Come sit down, who is the father?"

Amane leaves to go get her husband.

Kyōjurō: "Who's the father?!"

???: "Let's wait for Oyakata-sama."

They sit in silence for ten minutes. Kyōjurō was watching the woman look anxiously around. Her eyes would move to wherever there was a sound, then move to the sun.

Kagaya: "Hello. You need to speak to me?"

Kagaya sits with his wife across from Kyōjurō and the woman.

???: "This is the Ubuyashiki Family correct?"

Kagaya: "Yes. Why?"

???: "Please take his and my daughter! She's not safe with me, he can't get his hands on her! She's in danger! He can't get his hands on her at all costs. Please protect my daughter from the mistake I made! If I keep her he'll kill both of us!"

Kagaya: "You have a beautiful daughter."

???: "Thank you." Am I really going to give her to an 18-year-old? Yes. I am.

Kyōjurō: "Can we know who the baby's father is?!"

Kagaya: "I'll look into it. If it's serious we'll find a way to save her. Anything else?"

???: "She's going to have a huge target on her back once she's old enough to go outside by herself. Thank you, for taking her in. If she asks about us tell her I died a peaceful death, and not the horrific one I await."

Kagaya: "And of her father?"

???: "When she's little tell her that he was too ill to care for her. When she's old enough for the truth, tell her he is a cruel man, who takes pleasure in others' pain. To be careful if she goes out to find him, because she may be diving too deep. I must go before he finds us. I'll lead him as far away from here as I can."

Kagaya: "Goodbye...?"

???: "Rei. Rei Kibutsuji."

Rei leaves the headquarters and runs as fast as she can toward the woods opposite both Muzan and the Demon Slayer Headquarters.

Kyōjurō: "Do you think we'll ever see her again?"

Kagaya: "No."

~Later that week~

???: "Master, we found the woman."

Muzan walks with the demon. Two demons were standing outside a room guarding the door.

The demons: "Our lord."

Muzan walks into the room.

Muzan: "Rei."

Rei: "Muzan."

Muzan: "Where is she?"

Rei: "I'll never tell you."

Muzan nods at the demon who leaves.

Muzan: "That's okay. I'll find my daughter myself."

Rei looks terrified as Muzan walks towards her.

Muzan: "She'll be my heir. She will be the Demon Princess, besides she has all of my abilities accept being able to turn others into demons."

Rei: "Please-"

Muzan: "It's too late for begging. Now what to do to you? I won't eat you..."

Rei sighs in relief.

Muzan: "Yet."
