Lee Eun-Woo: My Possessive Bestfriend

Chapter 1: Newcomer

"Good morning my sunshine! Class is finally over." A soft voice whispered onto my ear. "What time is it?" Feeling sleepy as I said. "Oh, it's 9:50 in the morning! Come on, I'll treat you lunch." He held my hand and we both fled to the cafeteria. Well, let's have first the introduction. My name is Chihiro Park, the so-called main character in this chaotic story, and that idiot is Lee Eun-Woo. Ever since I insist on becoming his assistant in the school council, he became closer to me ever since before. He became too clingy, that his hugs are too tight. He always become distant when I'm talking to others. Now the introduction's over, we can now head to the story. We now entered the cafeteria to order some food. The environment in there is pretty crowded, which is not my thing. Thankfully, after buying the food, we always go to the office and eat there. "Mmm, the food is delicious! Never tasted that before." He said while talking with his mouth full. "Will you please stop talking with your mouth full, you'll get choked." I said looking worried to him. "Aww, is my sunshine worried about me?" Well now he's back of becoming an idiot. "But hey, no need to worry about me, I'm fine as always!" He said while smiling to me.

We now finished eating our meal, Eun-Woo is right! It is really tasty. "Again, thank you so much for treating me lunch today. I don't know how to pay you back, but I promise-" He covered my mouth which obviously, interrupted my thanks. "Oh no, you don't have to pay me back. You being here with me all the time is all I need." Aww, his soft side never dare to disappoint me. After that, a lot of talking about the different activities that we are about to announce this Halloween. Suddenly, the microphone went off "Attention, Chi Hiro Park. Please come to the principal's office as soon as possible. Thank you!" That's the principal. "Sorry in advance but I need to hurry now. Catch you later?" He seemed disappointed and just nodded since I'm the only one he's comfortable with when having conversations.

I now head to the principal's office and noticed a girl beside the principal. "Aha, there you are Chihiro! Meet Kang Chae-Hyun, she's new here. Would you mind if you could take her to a tour in the campus?" I insisted and brought her outside the office. "So, where do you want to start?" I want the tour to be short so that I don't have to deal that idiot's jealousy again. "Let's head to the classrooms first, please?" Chae-Hyun answered. "That's a wonderful choice, since it's break time, let's kill time for touring different classrooms." After circling the campus, the bell had finally rang. "For your schedule, You have the same class as me so, follow me!" The area suddenly feels eerie, this aura, it's familiar. I've looked around the hallway without letting Chae-Hyun know. There, I see Eun-Woo, looking at us, filled with despair and hatred, looking at Chae-hyun. It has been too late now, he had seen us, he's jealousy is also his weakness, he can't deal with it. I just told her the directions of the classroom and just tell her that I'm going to the bathroom. Well, she insisted.

I head towards Eun-Woo when suddenly, he grabbed me forcedly. "Who the fuck is that?! Care to explain?" His anger made me chills. "It's a newcomer, you know that I'm always in charge of that, right?" He looked down the floor still feeling anger. "From this day on, I will not let you hang out with that girl." He always feels jealous when I hang out on somebody thinking that I would replace him with someone better than him. "Okay here's a deal, you let me hang out with her during class, and... once class is over, You can always hang out with me even in the night." Well obviously, I only said that to make him chill out. He take a deep breath and let go of me. Well that's successful. "Come here! You know that I'll never leave you till we die, right?" That words that I said struck his heart. He hugged me tightly, "I'm sorry! I just couldn't help thinking that you would replace me!" He sobs gently. "There, there! It's okay."

An hour had passed.

"Finally class is over! I can't stand Calculus right now!" Chae-hyun really can't understand calculus. "Don't worry, you can do it! Just do your best!" I said to gain her motivation on working hard, but I'm more aware about Eun-Woo. Hopefully he'd feel better today, I suddenly heard a soft call on the hallway. I looked to see who it was, and it was Eun-Woo waiting for me. "Hyung~!" That idiot, "Sorry Chae-hyun, catch you later!" I was at a hurry because of him. I walked up to him, and surprisingly, he just hugged me. "Oh- what's this for?" I said confused. "Why? Is it bad to miss your best friend?" He's clearly grinning because of his tone. "Will you please help me carry these books to the library?" That sounded... odd? He mostly just say that he can carry it properly, but now? "Sure, I guess?" I am perplexed about his behavior but just tend to forget about it. He then smiled at me and assist me on where to put it.

We got to the room, which supposedly was the office. "Here, place this books on top of that shelf." His tone looks like he's gonna kill me. "U-Umm sure!" I felt like I should be concerned in this situation, I place the books on what he said. "Chihiro!" His tone feels more lively, which confused me even more. "Thank you for helping me carry my stuff here!" I dozed out, thinking about his behavior that was like never before. A faint, quiet voice is calling me. "Sunshine? Are you okay?" His face, that handsome, worried face was so closed up to my head. It made my heart fluster! I pushed him away because I'm embarassed, "O-Ohh! I am okay! Well of course I'll help you! That's my duty for being your best friend and assistant, right?" He nodded happily and hugged me. Lee Eun-Woo, you always never fail to make me proud! "Oh! I lost track on the time. Sorry, Chihiro! I'll catch you later okay?" I understand his hurry and nodded lively. He exits the room with smile in his face.
