"Alana, you have a visitor," Dr. Sheen walked into the room. Mrs. Archer, Natalie's mom, followed him.

"Lana. Oh by The Lord you're okay," Mrs. Archer walked up to me. Tears were in her eyes, "Thank god. Thank god."

"What's been going on?" I pushed the button on my remote that made the back of my bed. So far my right arm was healed and done being paralyzed. My left arm was broken, both my legs were paralyzed, and I was too weak to sit up.

"The funerals already happened. There's going to be a group manorial service, which we want you to go to. Oh, and your dad's coming back to town."

"What? Why is he coming back?" I started to dart up in the bed, causing my spine to feel like it was on fire. My parents had been divorced for almost ten years and my dad had moved away to Florida. Mom and I had stayed in Colorado and I only ever saw my dad for two weeks in the summer.

"There's been an incident."
