♧ It was a rainy Saturday afternoon, [Y/n]'s favorite time and type of day. It meant he could read a book and watch movies without having to do any royal duties. He was currently reading his favorite fantasy book, Percy Jackson and The Olympians: The Titan's Curse, when he heard the castle doors slam open, revealing a brunette wearing a green hoodie, black jeans, and a smiley face mask, he was also covered in blood. He looked at [Y/n] and said hello. "Hello to you too, Dream, go get cleaned up. You know where the bathroom is." [Y/n] replied. He then looked at the string on his middle finger and then back to Dream. "Wait, why did our strings get shorter?!" They asked in unison. "DAD!" [Y/n] called for his mother. Eret came in with their hands covered in wool. "Yeah, kiddo?" "Uh, why are our fingers connected?" [Y/n] asked, motioning to Dream and himself. "[Y/n], have you ever heard of soulmate strings?" "Yeah, why?" [Y/N] asked. "Oh, thanks, mum." [Y/N] said, realization hitting him in the face. "Mhm." Eret said, nodding her head and leaving to go back to making sweaters. "Come on, let's go get you cleaned up." [Y/N] said, getting up and leading Dream to the bathroom. "Heh, thanks." Dream said. "No problem mate." [Y/N] said. Once they made it to the bathroom, [Y/N] handed Dream some tissues to clean himself up with. "You can go get changed into my clothes. You know where my room is." [Y/N] said, leaving the bathroom. "I'm only leaving to one, finish my book, and two, let you clean up and change." [Y/N] then kissed Dream's cheek since he took his mask off.♧

♧ Dream came back into the living room where [Y/N] was. He sat next to him and decided to lay his head in the other's lap, because why not. [Y/N] then started brushing his fingers through Dream's hair while reading the book from before. "So, what book are you reading, [Y/N]?" Dream asked the [h/c] male. "Oh, just Percy Jackson," he replied. "Oh, okay." Dream then took out his phone and started to watch Tiktok. The two boys stayed like that until Eret called them to dinner. ♧
