Shattered

When someone is pushed past their limit, they will break.

Alek slammed his hand against the ground, painfully pushing himself up onto one knee. He could barely keep his body moving.

But what happens if you break something that's already broken?

He could barely keep his eyes open as his vision began to blur...none the less, he pushed himself to his feet, and stood up with indescribable effort.

Their spirit shatters into smaller and smaller pieces, and they begin to care less about what happens to them...until eventually...

A cocky, but pained grin rose to his face as he chuckled weakly, making eye contact.

"You're going to have to try harder than that!"

...There's no spirit left to break.
