Sunny's POV:
I had just told Anenome the plan that I formulated. "Okay, remember. Aquatic first, enchant last. If you forget any steps in between, then you can always ask Jambu to remind you." I said. Anenome nodded and started flashing her bioluminescent scales to get Tsunami and Riptide's attention. They seemed to understand, and Jambu sent in two Nightwings in their places.
After telling and explaining to them the plan, they started it. Scales of a variety of colors ranging from red to blue and some glitters of black and gray, all flying and darting across the sky to confuse her. Then, all of a sudden, the colors started to fall from the sky, as if they were landing but... they weren't. They were falling.
Some of the other dragons noticed this and started landing. Clay and Starflight where among those few. They started to carry them into the shade, while others made sure the ones that were hit were okay. If we were going to do this, we're going to have to either do it now, or think of a solution to stall them.
"Keep stalling, but stay out of her reach!" I said while running towards the dragons in the shade.
Starflight's POV:
Sunny was running towards us with a another Nightwing behind her. "What happened? Did she finally decide to fight back?" "Yes, she did and dragons are getting hurt from it. Badly." Clay said. "I wonder what's going on inside her head right now." I wondered.
Fatespeaker's POV:
I couldn't do anything. I was moving, but this movement was unnatural, as if I was nothing but just a mere puppet. I tried communicating with them, but the only thing that escaped from my mouth an ear piercing, gut wrenching roar that sounded like The Darkstalker if he was being executed. Well- not the exact word I would use. Maybe demonic, is more of the word I'm thinking of. However, they seemed to get knocked back, physically rolling so far back that they almost got blown into the depths of the ocean. What's wrong with me? I questioned.
Narrator's POV:
After recovering, the dragons rushed back into the battling area and started distracting again. "They're really persistent. Glory taught them well, huh." Sunny said, slightly flabbergasted. "They are, Glory outdid herself while teaching them." Starflight added. Suddenly, something huge flew over their heads. They whipped around to see it was a huge boulder, and just kind of had this 'errrr...' glare at it like in Pokemon, when Bewear just comes and snatches up Team Rocket and their all just left there wondering what in the world happened. Starflight turned his head back, and to his horror, Fatespeaker had stared picking up boulders and literally throwing them. He alerted the others, and Sunny ran over to Anenome and Jambu. "Probably about time to execute the plan, right?" Jambu asked, slightly shook.
"Yes, it is! We need to do something stop her before anything escalates further. Anenome, ready?" Sunny said. The small Seawing princess nodded, getting into some kind of battle stance. Sunny signaled Riptide, who tossed an old rusted looking spear, that Sunny recognised from their "stay" at the Summer Palace.
Anenome's POV:
I picked it up, but hesitated. I was having flashbacks. I didn't mean to kill Whirlpool, but he had admitted to attacking Tsunami, and it also the only way for them to escape. I snapped back to reality, and prepared. Alright, remeber. Spear is the back up plan, so hold on to it just in case.
Jambu blew a sleeping dart, and I enchanted it. I didn't even know I could do it midair! It soared through the air, and hit Fatespeaker right smack center of her neck.
Fatespeaker's POV:
A sharp pain hit me in my neck, echoing throughout my body. Suddenly, my vision returned to normal, then, out of nowhere, I collapsed, and everything bad gone black again. When I woke up, I was somewhere in the forest. "Guys! She awake!" Someone next to me yelled. I glanced up and saw it was Sunny, running to get the others. When they returned, they filled me in on what happened. How I had gone corrupt, about Sunny's idea, about the dragons being swatted out of midair. "I- I can't believe all of this happened..." I said. "We're just glad your okay! I mean- you are okay, right?" Starflight asked.
"Of course I am!"
"Perfect, then we should start heading back to the rainforest now." A voice behind me said. It was Glory. Apparently while I was out, which was a while, they sent a message to Glory, and she came to see me herself, of course, along with Deathbringer. "Yes puh-lease! It is scorching out here! You do realize because my scales are dark, they conduct more sunlight, right?" Deathbringer complained. We all laughed, and he put on his goofy little grin that he does, that he tries to convince us is not his 'smug face,' which, come on! No one is going to believe that! And with that said, we got up, and started walking back towards the direction of the rainforest.
