Nara Pov.

I think it was when I heard those words 2 years ago that changed me forever.

" I'm sorry, but you have terminal lung cancer "

I was only 16 at the time. I was scared in that moment I was afraid to die, I had big dreams and hopes, but I wasn't sure if I'd be able to life them out anymore.

" Nara?" A soft, sweet voice broke my train of thoughts. I looked up to see the therapist looking at me with soft eyes. I was sitting in a circle with different kids, who were also sick.

" Nara, would you like to say something?" The therapist questioned her voice just above a whisper.

I anxiously looked around, everyone's eyes were on me. I shifted my gaze to the floor.

" I'm Nara" well everyone already knew that. " I don't feel any better to be honest, I'm exhausted. All I do is sit in my room, waiting for this illness to finally take me" I abruptly stopped.

" Nara..." the therapist started.

" Um... excuse me? Is this where he's supposed to be?" A voice spoke. I turned around to see an beautiful woman, standing next to a young boy, he looked around my age.

He wore light blue pajamas and white slippers. His face showed no emotion, his eyes looked lifeless, similar to mine. He looked at me with a stone cold glare before staring into space.

" Ahh... yes, he must be the new boy. Please have a seat" the therapist pointed to the empty seat next to me. The woman motioned the boy to sit next to me. His movements were slow and heavy. He sat down before glancing at me, I quickly looked away.

" Be good okay? I love you sweetie" The woman said pecking the boys forehead, he said nothing in reply as the woman sighed and bid her goodbyes.

" Welcome...?" She said not sure of his name.

" Seokjin. Kim Seokjin" His voice was rough and cold almost as cold as the winter outside.

" Welcome Seokjin. Please tell us about yourself "

He seemed hesitant. Before he spoke with a poker face.

" I'm 19 years old" One year older than me. " I have... terminal heart cancer, they say I'll probably live for only another 5 to 6 months " The room was silent.

" Well um, Thank you Seokjin. That's all for today, I'll see you all next week"

The therapist bid her goodbyes and left. I sat put in my seat, looking out the window watching the snow fall from the sky.

" Hey" I snapped my head to the voice. Seokjin's voice.

" Can you show me where's my room?" He asked with a plain face.

" Sure..." I slowly stood up. " What your room number?" I asked slowly walking through the hall with Seokjin following me.

" 149" I froze.

" That's the same room as mine"

He just stared at me before slowly nodding. I scoffed and showed him our room.

He stepped inside looking around.

" What's your name?" He asked while sitting down on one of the beds, atleast it wasn't my bed.

" Goha Nara" I said sitting down on my own bed.

He hummed looking at me closely. " Nara?" He asked.

I hummed. " yes, I'm Japanese "

He nodded his head and looked away.

" So what's wrong with you?"

" I uh have terminal lung cancer, I have about 4 to 5 months left" I answered laying down on my bed while staring at the ceiling.

" How old are you?"

" Why do you ask so many questions?"

He scoffed. " I just trying to get to know you"

I sighed, closing my eyes. " I'm 18"

" I see..." " Do your parents live in Korea?" He asked. My eyes shot open at the question.

" No they uh, they left me here, when they found out I was sick. I never even heard of them"

" oh- um I'm sorry" He blurted out.

" No. It's okay... Goodnight "

" Goodnight "

" How come you have all your hair, Seokjin?" I asked confused.

" I have no idea. Do have hair?"

" nope, why do you think I'm wearing a hat?"

" I don't know, maybe because it's freezing"

I giggled. Omg I just giggled.
