(Mixed POV chapter)

—COLLINS POV—

It's been weeks now since the big fight in the hallway, everyone was talking about it, and Principle Lesley let me, Tony, Red, Jonny, and Duck take the rest of the week off. I sat up, rubbing my eyes and looking around, Duck was gone and it looked to be late in the afternoon, I got up, walked to my closet, and got dressed. As I stepped outside, I realized it was snowing, I smiled a bit as I admired the slow fall of the flakes, leaving a white blanket on the ground, but suddenly, I was grabbed from behind and picked up.

"Mornin gorgeous~"

It was Tony, smiling brightly in his letterman jacket.

"Good morning sweetheart~"

I turned around and kissed him, melting into the moment. Tony took my hand and we walked down to the courtyard in our fluffy winter coats, meeting up with the other two lovebirds at the secondary library.

—DUCKS POV—

Red and I sat next to each other at the library, quietly talking to each other, I looked up and admired him, since a few weeks ago, he's been wearing his hair up every day, it's so cute. I reached my hand up and played with one of his loose strands of hair, our eyes met and we smiled. Without words we were able to communicate to each other, I could tell he was telling me he loved me, and I loved him too.

"You're so pretty~"

I said to Red as I tucked his hair behind his ear, he kissed my hand and smirked.

"You're gorgeous~"

I blushed at his compliment, dramatically placing my hand on my chest and swooning into a sigh. Red chuckled and picked me up, spinning me around and kissing all over my face, our giggles filled the building as we heard the other two come in.

—TONYS POV—

As I opened the door I heard much giggling and laughter, I could already tell it was them, I rolled my eyes but smiled, happy for them. Collin ran up to them and they all greeted each other, followed by Jonny coming into the library as well. I sat next to Collin, holding his hand as they all interacted, I was always really silent in the group, and they were okay with that, I just needed to get more comfortable.

"So, Tony."

I looked over at Duck as my name was said, he was smirking slyly.

"I heard that the entire school is starting to really like you, huh?"

"Oh...yeah I guess, after it was revealed a bunch of times that Paige cheated on me...I guess everyone cut me some slack. It's pretty great, but I'm still not looking forward to her simps, aka the people who still think I'm worse than her."

Colin lay his head on my shoulder and smiled up at me.

"It'll be alright honey, we'll all be their to kick their asses."

Red nodded in agreement.

"Oh yeah, I'm not afraid to punch anyone, no matter the gender, size, race, whatever, if you're being a dickhead, you're getting punched."

Duck smiled.

"Weird to see you so defensive, gonna have to get used to that coming from you.~"

Red blushed, he seemed so flattered by everything Duck said, they were adorable.

—JONNY POV—

I sat and watched them all flirt, it was gross, but, even though I'll never admit it, it was cute. I read my book quietly, not paying much attention to what anyone was saying, I desperately wanted to get my dad out of my mind, I hated him, he only ever did what my mom said, and if my mom wasn't around, he was an ass, telling me off and yelling at me for nothing, school was where I came to escape home, but I was hard to when your parents ran it.

I sighed and set my book down, and looked over and Red and Duck, I so desperately wanted them to be my dads, they were kind, caring, they weren't distant, and they didn't yell at me for little things. Sure, they were only 4 years older than me, but they were still so ideal, and so loving.

I didn't realize but I began to tear up, I looked back down at my book, but still, Red seemed to notice.

"Hey, buddy? You alright?"

I wiped my tears and sighed.

"Yeah, I'm alright. I'm just not feeling well...."

Red ruffled up my hair and picked me up, I was a lot shorter than him.

"I'm gonna take Jonny back to one of our dorms to let him rest."

Rest...rest sounded nice. I never got to rest much at home, if my mom wasn't around, which was almost all of the time, I had to be cleaning, or doing something for my dad, I could never catch a break. As Red carried me to the halls, my eyes got heavy, I feel asleep very fast, I had always had so much trouble falling asleep, maybe I was finally comfortable with the place I was in.
