I reached my end point. I've been living in this world, stuck, with what seems like one way out. Dry blood stains my hands, my head's filled with thoughts that can only be seen as unpleasant, it's as if I'm not even in my own body. I'm a husk of my former self. I'm living in an empty shell of a man, I've been trying to find answers to my problem. They have left me scarred, they won't leave me alone, I've seen things that humans can't simply comprehend. The answer is right in front of me, waiting for me. I will become one of them. Be what they wanted me to be. This place, it's as if God damned me to live in this forsaken hell hole I call home. No longer will I let things slip by me, I will choose my decision. How did I get here?

Chapter 1: Welcome

I woke up on a road confused. Looking around me, I can see a car crashed, destroyed beyond repair, into a tree at least 6 feet away from me. I stood up and felt blood coming from my head, I ripped my shirt and tied it around my head to stop the bleeding for now. I went to call a friend or anyone to help me, but my phone was gone. I yelled out for help, but no one came to help me. I started walking down this road. It was empty, barren, no cars ever drove past me. After what seemed like minutes of walking aimlessly, I saw someone familiar.

Mc: Hey! You look like someone I know, can you help me ma'am?

I started walking towards this woman, but even when she was standing still, it didn't feel as if I was getting any closer to her. Fog started appearing out of nowhere, so now I can't get a clear look at who I'm seeing.

Mc: Excuse me ma'am, I don't know what's going on, but I can't seem to get any closer to you. Can you come to me?

No response. She was just staring at me, like she didn't want to come near me. After taking another step towards her, she ran to the right of me, into the trees. I ran to catch up to her, finally being able to get closer and closer. After being an inch away from the woman, I hit my foot into a rock, falling down a hill. I got up, brushed myself off and looked up. A hospital stood in front of me, it's like it was staring through me. The woman was nowhere to be seen, but what replaced her was a little girl. I called out to her, but again, nothing. I walked towards her, but she ran into the hospital. I followed her inside, the door behind me shut on its own. Looking around me, I can see that this hospital is overtaken by nature. Vines infested the halls, grass and flowers were growing inside the cracks of the floor. I went into a room and saw a note.

Note 3: Good afternoon Mr. David, it's your therapist. After getting that closer examination, I can see that you'll need to be prescribed antidepressants in order to help you become better. Although the drugs can help you, it's only temporary, so you'll need to work on yourself as well. Come back so we can work this out together. -From Vanessa Green

I looked away from the note and saw the little girl again, but she was blocking the doorway. I got a closer look at her and something wasn't right. Her clothes seemed to be burnt from something, her hair was blocking her face and she was holding a teddy bear close to her chest.

Mc: Hey, what happened to you? I won't hurt you I promise.

She lifted her head up and I saw her face for the first time. That face, I will never forget the monstrosity. Her face was mangled, distorted to such a degree, I can't even consider it to be a human. Her hand slipped into the teddy bear, pulling out a knife and she lunged at me to stab me. Her screams filled the room, echoing all over the place. I heard what seemed like the scream of the damned. Before she could pierce the knife into my stomach, I grabbed her head and threw her into a wall. The screaming stopped; her blood splattered all over the wall. I caught my breath and ran back to the exit, but it wouldn't open. I tried the windows, nothing. I went back to the room with the little girl and went to grab the knife. As I did, I heard screaming within the halls, the vines and the grass disappeared. The flowers withered away, and the walls shined red. I walked backwards and heard the little girl laughing.
