"THE DIVINE MOVE"

𝐍𝐀𝐈𝐋𝐒 𝐃𝐔𝐆 𝐈𝐍𝐓𝐎 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐋𝐄𝐀𝐓𝐇𝐄𝐑 of the steering wheel as the unfocused gaze of the ocean blues gazed from the street towards the silent phone. Several attempts to reach Christopher later, Amber felt a wave of fear. She couldn't recall how much time has passed since she decided to check on the people who worked at the Sheriffs Station.

Many innocents have already died by the hands of the Oni, before the effects of the magical poison could be reversed. Whoever was sliced by the shadows could meet the same fate. When Amber arrived at the high school, the loud growls and the sound of an on-going war reached her ear. Grabbing the gun from the thigh, she reloaded the magazine and hurried towards the entrance of the building. In front of the sign, which informed foreigns about their current location, sat a pleased duplicate of Stiles Stilinski.

Fingers intertwined, the attentive gaze and the amused twitch of the lips focused on the fight between the Oni and three werewolves. Former Alpha's, a group of male's who had a complicated bond with the True Alpha, but slowly turned to friends and advisers over the past. Running down the stairs, the blonde aimed at the shadow that appeared behind the Hale werewolf, attempting to slash through the thin piece of fabric and inflict a poisonous wound to another person. "Derek, dug." The female shouted through the passage and the vocals echoed off the stone walls, traveling towards the enhanced hearing of the black-haired.

She should have hesitated after their last encounter, but the Argent would not gift the Nogitsune another life. In a war against a dark spirit, a grudge against a person of the same team turned out to be unacceptable. A hundred more chances would come to the blonde, once the residents of Beacon Hills were freed from the chaos-causing being.

Claws slashed at the enemy in front of him, leaning down to hit the legs of the shadow figure and allow Amber enough space to shoot a bullet without grazing him. Trigger pulled, the sound was heard more than once as if she emptied the entire magazine. Two bullets flew towards the Oni, one straight through the chest and boring into the stone while the other shattered the silver mask and caused a confused retreat. An eyebrow arched at the damage inflicted, the disbelief about the events washed over the Argent. "Wait, what did she do?" Aiden's words struggled to find a way out of the mouth between the grunts and growls from dodging the incoming sword attacks.

"Amber, what was that?" Derek shouted, confused about the fact that an Oni disappeared after the silver mask was shattered. Opening the mouth, the blonde searched for an explanation herself. "I don't know." She stuttered the words together, surprised by how much the selfmade bullet affected the Nogitsune's puppets.

"Silver." A rough, male voice answered from the top of the staircase, shooting an arrow with the crossbow at the chest of another shadow warrior. Green light emitted from the body, and the Oni disappeared into thin air. The same process of last night when Allison used her last arrow to save Isaac's life. Horrified by how the tables have turned, the Stiles replica fled the scene towards the school building where the McCall Pack awaited him.
