Borusara first kiss attempt scenario. Enjoy~:)

The sun was just about setting in Konoha village. The tall buildings and edifices had all turned into a color of warm orange, reflecting the light of the twilight sun.

Young Sarada Uchiha, age fourteen, sat on the rooftop of the Uzumaki household, peacefully waited for her childhood friend to come join her. His mother and sister had gone out for 'girl's night,' and his Father...same situation as always.

Behind her, she heard the bedroom window slide open, followed by slight clinking of glass soda bottles. Despite the ruckus of noise, she kept her eyes closed and her face towards the sun's warm rays. It was until she felt his presence next to her she finally acknowledged him.

Giving her a small smile, he handed her a cold bottle of coke along with a rusty old bottle opener.

"After a thousand years of waiting, he finally arrives!" Sarada teased, reluctantly accepting the soda. It's been a while since she's actually drank one. Since her Mother was a doctor and all, she was always warned about the health risks soda can do to a stomach, but this was a 'once-in-a-while occurrence.

"Don't worry, you're not going to die because of soda. I know what you're thinking," Boruto smirked, opening the soda bottle for her, "Aunt Sakura always scolded us every time she saw us drank one when we were little, remember?"

"Oh my gosh, yeah. Heh, she always lectured me afterwards why it was so unhealthy." She traced her finger around the rim of the bottle.

"Well she's not here now is she?" He smiled, almost mischievously, at her. She nodded, taking a small sip of the bubbly beverage.

It was cold, bizarre, and bitterly sweet: It was delicious, almost addicting. No wonder her mother refused to let her drink such a concoction at such an early age. Sarada, suddenly feeling a sense of liberty, took a huge gulp, Boruto stared feeling pleased to see her at ease. It was only with him she truly let her guard down. With him, she's able to breathe.

"So...how long is your Mom working for today?" He asked after a couple of moments of peaceful silence.

"The entire night," she answered softly, "something big is happening in the hospital—an operation or something? I don't know, something like that." She fiddled with the tips of her hair.

"Well...seems like we're always left alone, doesn't it?" Boruto sighed, taking a long sip from his bottle.

"Hm, must be hard being the Hokage's son. You barely see your father around, not to mention your mother's constantly nurturing your younger sister." She slightly leaned her head towards him, staring at his distant blue eyes. No matter what time of day it is or which direction the sun is facing, his eyes always shine the bright blue that constantly mesmerized her.

"Sarada...? Sarada!" He snapped his fingers in front of her, "you're staring at me weirdly?" She blinked, it was until she realized how close he had gotten to her that she actually placed her hand flat on his face.

"Y-you're too close." She lightly pushed him away.

"You're such a weird girl." He rolled his eyes, moving back to his original position.

They both sat there quietly, drinking their sodas while staring down at the topography of the village. The streets from far away, was currently at rush hour, the last train had just arrived at the station, and a block away were a couple of rascal children playing a good old fashioned game of tag.

"Truth or dare?" The young teen girl spoke up, drinking the last few drips of soda she had left.

"...hmmm," Boruto examined her face, trying to crack any sense of mischief behind her blank stare. She was too calm, he decided to play it safe for now. "Truth. I don't trust you right now."
