Getting Acclimated

On the way home, we made a pit stop in target to pick up all of my new necessities. It was humiliating, especially as we walked across the entire store carrying a box of diapers. I was so nervous, as I was sure that someone from school was going to pop out of the aisle, but thankfully no one did.

After supper, my mother came into my room holding the bottle of diaper cream and a diaper. "Come Brick, it's time to get ready for bed", she said. "But I don't need a diaper", I shouted. "Brick, Doctor Goodwin said you should wear one", she replied. "But I woke up dry today, it means I've stopped wetting myself", I half reasoned, half begged. "Fine", said my mother, "you don't need to wear a diaper tonight, but I still need to put on the cream to clear up your rash". So I laid down and had my mother put butt paste all over my diaper area. I then went to bed in my mickey undies.

I woke up in middle of the night and immediately knew that I was wet. I cleaned off the bed, and then went to wake up my mother. "Mommy", I whispered. "What's the matter", she groggily said, "did you have an accident"? "Yes and I need your help", I admitted. She came to my room and helped me change the sheets. She then went to my top draw and pulled out a diaper. "Lie down", she said. She then expertly diapered me. It felt weird wearing a diaper but at least my bed won't get wet.

After 2 months, it had already become a routine. Before bed, my mother would come into my room and diaper me. I probably could've done it myself, but my mother wasn't taking any chances on having me leaking. In her words, "if I was wearing protection to prevent the bed from getting wet, the bed better not get wet". I haven't had a single dry night and the one day that I tried the desmopressin, I felt horrible, so I wasn't trying that for a while. Axel kept on trying to get me to come for a sleepover, but there was no way I was going to go while I was in diapers.
