Shiki: You're Artorius*, the previous "Shepherd" from 16 years ago.
Artorius: That is correct. I am here to give you a warning in your dreams.
Shiki : A warning?
Artorius then faced the sky, where a raven and a crow flies past them.
Artorius: A new "Lord of Calamity"* will rise from humanity's despair, and it is up to the new "Shepherd"* to stop them from plunging the world in eternal darkness again.
Shiki: "Lord of Calamity"? "Sheperd"? What are you talking about?
Artorius: I wish I could talk more but it is time for you to wake up.
Shiki then blacks out before waking up in bed.

Shiki and Fuyu then sits down on the chairs in the kitchen before they eat their food.
Fuyu: Did you know that there will be a "Shepherd Test"* today.
Shiki: Yeah. Many people had a hard time pulling out the sword from the stone over the past years.

Fuyu: Yup. All you have to do is to use those muscles of yours and boom, you instantly become a Shepherd.

Shiki sighed and placed his spoon down before Fuyu takes his plate to wash. After that, they went to the town square where a guard escort a drunk away after watching him not being able to pull the sword out.
