Clementine X female reader

Today Clementine was out looking around for information she left me a note telling me she went out and to just stay here until she comes back most likely getting info or talking to her new contact.

I was sleeping in her little cozy cove above her shelves the incense smelld nice and calmed my nerves they smelled much like lavender and the pillows were so soft too.

Then I heard a thump and a robotic sigh Clementine's home I heard her hang her bag and her moving boxes to block off the door.

"Girlfriend I need some affection and sleep!" Clementine called out walking into the living room with a tired face 'girlfriend' was a pet name she just started calling me since well I am her girlfriend Buttercup being another but she mostly uses that when she's teasing.

"I'm up here!" I waved as she looked up with a smile and climbed the ladder holding her hat in place so it doesn't fall off

"Arh you won't believe today my new contact won't give me any info until I give him something in return and when I went back to pay for it he raised the price!" Clementine complained grabbing a blanket and wrapped it around us as we cuddled next to the window.

"What an ass"

"Right!? When I confronted him about it he said "this info was hard to get to only give it to you and not anyone else would be costly" unfortunately he's the only guy who knows there way around neco corporation" Clementine sighed pulling me closer as I layed on top of her and lay my head under hers.

"Mmm perhaps I can help look around? It would be faster with both of us asking around" Clementine shook her head.

"No I'm not letting you risk yourself the sentinels are on patrol more often now and they placed security cameras here I want to make sure you're safe okay" Clementine placed her hand on top my head.

"Okay but still if there is anyway to assist you I'll happily help I just feel useless here" I sighed.

"You're not useless you assist me when I'm in need of cuddles, kisses and naps but seriously you already helped me enough"

"I know I guess I just get bored here when you go out" Clementine hummed in response.

"I'll rewrite some of the books I have into your language so you could have something to occupy yourself don't worry I'll find a time when there isn't as many sentinels so we can go out together"

"I'd like that" I snuggle my head deeper into Clementines neck I closed my eyes taking in the moment I could hear music from Clementines planning room luring me into sleep Clementine leaded the side of her head onto the glass her hat tilting off her head a bit.

"Goodnight" Clementine whispered placing her speaker onto my forehead for a moment and pulled back as her version of a kiss.

"Goodnight Clem" I kissed her screen too getting a happy noise in return I don't have to open my eyes to know she had a red heart on her screen.
