"I thought you texted Beca that we'd be at her place in a few. Why isn't she out here yet?", Tyler asked and stopped the car engine. Since they picked Malia up, on their way over to Beca's place Tyler refused to let her drive and she had to sit in the back of the car. "I'll go and get her, don't you worry!", Lucy chimed while she opened her seatbelt and hopped out of the car. She did notice the unfamiliar car in her best friends driveway but she figured that maybe Beca's parents have friends over. Just as she reached the door and wanted to ring, somebody opened it quickly and stepped out of the house without seeing her. But this time she wasn't so lucky that the person who made her stumble caught her. "Seriously? Twice on the same day?", she thought as she found herself on the floor with an aching butt. "Hey Nick? Was that really nessecary? Bumping into my very best friend and throwing her to the ground?". Lucy's head snapped up as Beca mentioned the persons name. "Oh my god, I'm so sorry Lucy! I-i didn't mean to! Are you alright?", Nick asked and gave her his gorgeous smile. "Wait, you two know each other already?" "Yah, Becs we do, he already bumped into me earlier today. And no, I'm not hurt", Lucy explained. She gave her friend a bear hug and proceeded to avoid eye contact with her. She would figure out what the deal was in no time and, since she literally doesn't have a filter, say it with Nick still being present. "Anyways, Nick, this is my very best friend, also known as my sister from another mother, and Luce, this is Nick, my cousin.", Beca introduced them."We are headed to a party, any chances you want to tag along?", Lucy asked Nick, hoping that he would say yes and she could spend some time getting to know him better. "Like i can say no to a girl that i threw on the ground twice today, i'll just tell my mom, be right back", he answered and hurried back inside. "So first, why didn't you tell me that you met a cutie pie today? I mean it's kinda gross to call a relative cute but you know what I mean right? And second second question, why did you avoid eye contact? Is there something you don't want me to know?", Beca pouted and looked really hurt. "Becs! Come on! You know that i don't last a day without you and that i tell you everything. And I was! But it was so chaotic at home and i figured i could tell you later tonight? And i didn't look into your eyes because i kinda like him and was afraid that you could see it", Lucy confessed and hugged her again. A loud and aggressive horn tone startled them. "Ugh, I swear to God, Tyler is the most annoying and impatient person in this town", Lucy rolled her eyes just as Nick came back into eyesight. "You know that rolling your eyes is bad, right?", Nick said just as Tyler opened the car window and screamed: " Get in the car guys! I don't want to miss all the fun!". "Alright party-people, lets get it started", Lucy squealed while she ran towards the car. "Sometimes she behaves like a 5 year old", Nick growed next to Lucy who looked at him and said: "Sometimes?". Which made both of them laugh.

"Ty! Dylan is basically your best friend, how can you not find his house?", Malia asked sounding slightly annoyed. Tyler indicated again and turned left into a small road with gorgeous and huge houses. "I know how to get to his place, I just thought it would be fun to drive around a bit aaaaand here we are, Miss Grumpy-pants". Tyler stopped the car infront of a huge driveway. Heaps of people were standing in the garden and judging by the noise they made, there was a high chance that the police was going to show up sooner or later. "Idiot", Malia grumbled and got out of the car. "Looks like somebody is moody today", whispered Lucy so that only her twin brother could hear what she just said. "She's been that way for a while now but she won't tell me whats up. God i love her but sometimes she drives me nuts". " I guess that's love, brother", Lucy joked and tried to lighten up her brothers mood.

"Heeeyyyyyyy, where have you been? It's so much fun here!". Lucy was pulled into a hug by Paul, one of the fast as runners in her track team. He picked her up and spun her around. "Paul! Let me down!". Even though she wanted him to let her down, she enjoyed the attention, since Paul is a really shy guy and doesn't really talk much. "Nah little girl, I won't let you down tonight." He said with a very slurry voice. "Please Paul let me down!". Her brother, Malia, Beca and Nick were nobody to be seen and all the others were too drunk to care that Paul didn't put her down, even though she requested it. "PAUL! It's not funny! All the spinning makes me feel sick to my stomach. LET ME DOWN NOW!".She screamed the last words and started hitting his back. "Dude, I think she asked you to let her down!" Somebody said and Paul stopped spinning around.
